Guitar Hero III is the best video game ever.  I am 46 years old.  I was never into video games.  My 12 year old friend got it for Christmas, and I am hooked!  I now own Guitar Hero I, II and III.  The battles, challenges, songs, rhythm, coordination, etcetera, all are inspiring, exhilerating and... review »

The first time I indulged the crowd to an encore presentation of "Rock and Roll All Night," I felt like I was king of the world. By the 20th time I tried to do so on the harder difficulty, I was ready to smash my ax into the stage.

It's not just the difficulty level - GH is significantly harder than...

Guitar Hero III was the first of the band games that I played and I found is absolutely addicting.   This game contains great songs and is a blast to play either single or multiplayer.

The Easy levels were perfect for beginners and progressively got more difficult as you went through the game.  By the time you complete the game on Easy, you should be able to tackle the first songs on Medium.  I did notice that the jump from Medium to Hard was a much more difficult jump.

As far as how it compares to Guitar Hero II, they are nearly identical in how they play.  The biggest difference is how well...

This is straight up the most fun game i've ever played and i own all gaming systems!! When i first bought this i wasn't that great at it but after a few weeks i was a pro and its so addicting.. i couldn't put the guitar down.  I like the fact that i didn't know all the songs that way i learned new songs and like many of them.. I'm looking foward to getting guitar hero 4 when it comes out this fall!!

Guitar Hero III has great songs and different levels of difficulty so that every one can enjoy it. The songs range the decades from Paint it black by the rolling stones to Miss murder by AFI. You can play alone or with a friend. When playing with two people you can play with or against each other. You can also play online if you have Xbox Live. It is great fun and even my Grandma plays!

I picked up Guitar Hero II: Legends of Rock for only 9.99.  For that price, the quality is amazing.  You get over 70 all star rock tracks to play with, including over 20 downloadable songs from the xbox live marketplace.    The new multiplayer modes are spectacular which include co-op and battle.  For any music fan, Guitar Hero II is a must bye.

Guitar hero 3 is by far the best guitar hero up to date.  Its long set list and multiple difficulties make many hours of gameplay possible, and as if thats not enough, there is also some intense multiplayer action.  There is a new multiplayer feature called battle and it is a terrific way to show which one of your buddies is better at the game.

Guitar Hero three is an amazing game! Harder to beat than previous versions, but worth the challenge. So far this is my personal choice in the guitar hero franchise. The song list is great, best so far! Start on Easy and build your way to Expert!
