Guitar Hero II is fun game that is also great for casual gamers.  I got GHII for Christmas and after my wife saw it an played the game she had so much fun that we got a second guitar controller so that we could play co-op together.  There is a good selection of songs and the Easy and Medium difficulty seem managable for most users.  Achievements are also pretty balanced to reward those that along the entire scale of difficulty.
