Xbox 360 Guitar Hero 2 (with guitar) —

OH YEAHHHHHH!!! The first ever Guitar Hero video game rocked everyone's world thanks to the bytchin' real heavy music and damn fine guitar controller that really made you feel like you were electrifying a big crowd on stage and then getting some after the show. The game was the perfect kick to the balls the gaming universe needed and we wanted an encore. Guitar Heroes part 1 and part deux already rocked hard on your grandpa's Playstation2 and it was F'N awesome there but now it's ready to get a all new record deal with the rich bastards over at Microsoft and their 360 love box, baby! Review time stringer dudes and rockettes: see if this Guitar Hero 2 game can turn you into a guitar playing sex machine or is this the next Boogie and just suck hard?

Now the first thing you'll notice is the guitar hero X-plorer axe they give ya is white with a long black handle. It still has the 5 candy coloured buttons, whammy bar, motion recognizing control, and all that cool stuff but it also has the big X button like a regular 360 controller so you play right away. Sadly, you gotta plug the thing which may sound dirty but it's actually pretty lame because the guitar isn't wireless.

Some of the big improvements over the past one is you and a friend can now play together in Career mode on guitar or bass and they can even play different difficulties too. If you are a noob the game also gives you a solid practice mode where you can breakdown any song or slow it down to help ya in the tough parts. Of course the game would blow puke from the backside if it didn't have any sexy music. You'll find tracks from Aerosmith, Guns 'N Roses, Kiss, Police, the Rolling Stones, and many more all here. A lot of the music isn't done by the original artist just warn ya ahead of time but they still sound damn fine.

Yeah, the game isn't too different from the PS2 edition but who the hell cares because GH2 still rocks on the 360. You get some graphical plastic surgery, a few extra tracks, and even some online fighting on leaderboards. It's time to stop scratching your rash and forget the grass, get up off that a$$ and rock on to Guitar Hero 2!

Guitar Hero 2 overall rating: 90/100

Rated (T) for Teen
graphics: 7/10

replay: 9/10

And to think, back in the old days we had to pick up a broom if we wanted to rock along with our favorite artists....
