Pros

    wireless controllers, Graphics, online, Plays games perfectly, Variety of games available is great, runs smooth

The xbox 360 has the potential to be a gamers drem. Great graphics, sustained on-line community, plenty of exclusive downloadable content(extra add-on features for a game available only for specific consoles) and some great first party support. Having said that I would still overall say stay away until further notice. The reason? Well they are buggier than Mississippi in July. I am currently on my 3rd one. The first one had a manufacturers defect, it was repaired for free, BUT I had to accept a rebuilt one. This is unfair b/c mine had a defect from the moment it came off the line and I paid for a new one and ended up with a rebuilt one. That one broke and Microsoft wouldnt touch it since it was a "rebuild". That they rebuilt...Still trying to figure that one out. So, like a fool I bought another one about 6months ago from a Gamespot store. This one worked for about 2 weeks and then that one died. Xbox accepted my 100 dollars they said would fix it but then 2 months later I get it back and they said they couldnt touch it because it had been "modded". This was news to me, I didnt even know what that was. Gamespot, though, earns my praise because they took it back and replaced it for free. So...If you get one that works, great, and it will be a great system in a few years once they fix the bugs!

I think so too! Any product that can even have a 'red ring of death' should probably be avoided! :o)

Great review! Mine had the red ring of death three times so I gave up and got a PS3. Haven't had a single problem yet!
