Xbox - 360 Console Review

In all my years of existance, I have owned many game consoles.  The n64, the PS1, PS2 Game Cube, Computers, Gameboys, PSPs, and Xboxes.  Out of all the consoles I hae owned the Microsoft Xbox, and Xbox 360 were the best.  When the highly anticipated XBOX came out on November 15, 2001, everybody wanted one.  It had the best graphics, and it had Xbox live.  But on November 27, 2005 the Xbox 360 emerged.  This console had the best graphics that had every been seen by human eyes, the best games ever to have been played, and the best online gameplay to ever exist.  Unfortunately, this was a downside.  No, not the price, the fact that the Microsoft Xbox 360, got the RED RINGS OF DEATH!!!!!  This Xbox-edemic was a something not considered while making the console.  The way it works is when you play, the console gets very hot, so hot you can fry an egg on the hard-drive.  Once this happens, the red lights on the front of the Xbox go on(see picture) indicating a general hardware malfunction.  They tried to stop the overheating by coming out with a fan accessory that cools down the xbox.  Unfortunately, they didn't think that over either because the fan runs off the Xbox's power and causes it to get hotter.  In april 2009, Microsoft extended the warranty to cover the E74 error code which is the term for the red rings of death.  But in order to get this fixed, you have to ship the whole Xbox to Texas for 2 weeks and wait for the factory to send it back.  Now that we've gotten past the Cons, lets get to the pro's.  The best part about the Xbox is the price.  As of a couple months ago, the best Xbox that Microsoft makes, has dropped in price to 215 dollars.  More than half the price of the PS3. Another great thing about the Xbox 360 is the On-line gameplay.  Whether you're playing Call of Duty 4, or Test drive unlimited, it's a great way for nerds to interact with other people(just kidding LOL!) Overall I would give my left nut for an Xbox 360 any day. I reccomend it to anyone with enough money.
