I like this little box. Lot's of games, lot's of features, lot of value for little cash. But, it does seem to be unreliable. The first generation had overheating issues. They seemed to solve that issue with the 2nd generation of consoles. But, there are other problems. It still is prone to overheating if not properly ventilated. By properly ventialated, I mean it needs a fan pointed at it and you might have issues with it being on most entertainment centers. The disc tray on mine worked great for about two months. Now I have to tap it to get the tray to open. Sometimes it even opens on its' own right after I close it. Some of the Microsoft branded accessories are crap too. Like the charge and play kit. It takes 3 days of playing to charge the controller up. On top of that, the battery gets so hot it makes your hands sweat. I solved that issue with an external battery charger and a couple of spare packs. Now I don't have to smell my hands burning when I play. The wireless controllers work really good as well. The range on them is impressive. I can make people listen to me pee without any problems. The harddrive upgrade is way overpriced. A similar harddrive for a PC would be $100 cheaper. You get gouged for certain on the upgrade.
