The Xbox 360 Arcade model is a great replacement for anyone who's had rrod (Red Ring Of Death, being when the console "dies" and the green lights on the front turn red), and currently have a hard drive. Leaving aside the lack of suitable hard drive, not cheaply obtained, it is an absolute gem.

It comes...

The Xbox 360 is an amazing piece of technology. I got mine on Black Friday as a package deal. It included the Xbox 360 arcade version, a free 20GB harddrive, two wireless remotes, the arcade games to which the Xbox Arcade gets its name from and Superstars of Tennis, all for $199 with free shipping. Too...

My wife got me my XBox 360: Arcade for Christmas and I was ecstatic.  I had played mostly Playstation since the N64 went out of style and was not satisfied with the game playing experience.  That was to change with the XBox 360.  The games are so much fun.  I would recommend anyone who buys this to get a memory card first thing.  I loved playing Dead Rising but was frustrated when I got eaten by a zombie and it didn't have enough memory internally to save my progress.  I would also recommend Gears of War 1 and 2.  They are exclusive to this system.  The controllers are awesome.  They have...

I love the xbox 360 system. Some of the older systems do red ring though. Sometimes there is a lack of quality within the merchandise you have to buy for it such as the microphones, and controllers. I love the graphics, it even looks very good on my older model television. It has many more games to choose from than the PS3. I also like listening to music and watching DVDs on the xbox 360. I like to play halo 3 only, and this is the only console halo 3 has been made for. Which is weird, but understandable. Also, xbox merchandise is quite expensive -- such as the microsoft points cards, the xbox...

I first received my Xbox 360 as a Christmas gift.  More or less it was the object i had been seeking for years and years.  I spend about ten hours a week on it and have multiple game titles such as Gears of War, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Dead Rising, Fallout 3 and the Kungfu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones game pack it came with. The best part of it all is that you can purchase arcade games on the Xbox Live Marketplace. It has many classics such as Doom but many new titles also such as Worms Armageddon and Crystal Defenders ( a Square Enix tower defense spinoff of Final Fantasy Tactics). The only...

This console is great. Add a really good game and it becomes absolutely addictive. It comes with hdmi input (hdmi cables sold separately), good for high def tvs - it makes the gaming experience that much better. The biggest plus about the Xbox 360 is that there is a wider range of video game options vs other consoles.
