XM Satellite Radio  —

I started out with XM radio on one of those units that you stick to your dash and it plugs into the cigarette lighter thing. It worked great and I loved that no matter what state I was driving through there was a great signal and good music.

Then I went out a bought a new truck that had XM built in. At first I missed being able to see the name of the artist and the song at the same time, and I missed not being able to set it to tune to certain songs or artists that I liked to hear more than others...but I got over it!

I do love the variety on XM and that I can listen to it anywhere that I happen to be driving but I must say...I thought that XM was supposed to be commercial free, I mean that's why we have to pay for it right? Well I think that if you are paying for radio you should at least get to listen to it with out commercials. I'm not saying that they are real bad...you get usually one (slightly longer than normal) commercial every so often, but it's during those moments that I end up changing the channel or switching to some other source of music (CD's, FM radio, MP3) In that case I think that we should only have to pay for what we use!

On the topic of blind spots...I have only gotten them when a large building is in the way or going through a tunnel.
