I know I need to drink water, I just don't want to. Not plain anyways. But I find that I do like to drink something throughout the day, but I battle with the danger of becoming diabetic as I had gestational diabetes. So I try not to drink sugared beverages so I drink a lot of Crystal Lite type drinks. I do like Crystal Lite a lot but it can be pretty expensive, so I have no problem buying off brands or store brands as long as they are sugar free. I was recently at Walgreens and they had boxes of Wyler's Light Singles to Go, Engergy Berry Punch for just $1.00 a box. The price was certainly right so I bought a box to try out.
This particular box came with 6 individual packets. These packets go in to a 16.9 oz bottle of water if you like it strong, and 20 oz water bottle if you like a milder flavor. I prefer it to not be too strong. You simply pull the individual packet opened, and empty it in to the bottle and then shake the bottle until it is thoroughly blended. I put three in a pitcher and that seemed to be a perfect amount for a full pitcher.
One thing I didn't realize when I bought this is that there is caffeine in it. This was written in small letters and I didn't really notice. I drank some before bed one night, and I actually had trouble sleeping, the next day I saw the box and saw that it said it had caffeine and that explained my trouble sleeping, so if you do get this Energy Berry Punch flavor be aware that there is caffiene in it and don't drink it before bed.
This particular flavor also has B vitamins in it for flavor.
The Wyler's Light Energy Berry Punch flavor will provide you with 5 calories per serving. Do be aware that they consider each packet to be 2 servings, so one whole packet is actually 10 calories (not that, that is much of a big deal). There is no fat, no sodium, 1 total gram of carbohydrate, and 0 grams of protein.
There is 10% of the RDA of Niacin, 10% Vitamins B12 and B6, there was also 10% Biotin, and Pantothenic Acid 10%. This is all based on a 2,000 calorie diet.
The Wyler's Light Singles to Go Energy Berry Punch tastes very much like Hi-C Berry Punch, it is not quite as strong, and is a tad bit more watery tasting, but it is still pretty good, and has a nice flavor. It is of course best cold.
I personally like the convenience, price, and taste of the Wyler's Light Singles to Go Energy Berry Punch.
