best paci ever!!!!

want your baby to take a paci but they don't seem to be interested? try the wubbanub! they are super cute avent brand paci's attaches to little beanie baby like soft animals. my first child was a thumb sucker and would never take a paci. still trying to break that silly habbit at 3 years old. i was super determined to have my second child take a paci but she just wouldn't do it... until i bought her a wubbanub. she ownes the red dog and the giraffe and loves them both. we had tried the avent soothie brand paci and she wasn't interested but once there is a little animal attached to the end apparently it's the best thing ever. she has now been a perfect paci girl for a month and i couldn't be more pleased! (she was 3 months when we got the first one) she will hold the animal and suck on the paci. when it falls out of her mouth the plush animal makes it easier for her to grab and put it back in. wish i would upload a picture to show you just how adorable they are!

WubbaNub is a brilliant idea!

The WubbaNub is a great invention!  My son would often spit out his pacifier and then cry because he wanted it back.  When he was too young to put it back in his mouth himself, this meant that my husband and I would be on pacifier duty, and we would have to give him his pacifier back several times an hour.  I was surfing around online and saw the WubbaNub and thought, "What the heck, I'll try it!"  The added weight of the stuffed animal generally keeps the pacifier in place.  If it should happen to fall out of the baby's mouth, it is easier for younger babies who don't have hand eye coordination to put it back in for themselves.  The stuffed animal comes in many different varieties.  We have had the dog and currently have the giraffe.  It can be a challenge to clean when the stuffed animal gets dirty.  I usually clean it in the sink with a bit of dish soap and leave it out to try. I would definitely recommend the WubbaNub to friends for their babies!

We love the WubbaNub

When we first gave my daughter a pacifier, she was unable to hold it in her mouth herself and we would have to hold it there for her.  Then we discovered the WubbaNub.  WIth a stuffed animal attached to the end, it is possible for the WubbaNub to lay on our daughter's chest and keep the pacifier in her mouth.  Sometimes it will still fall out, but she can often get it back into her mouth or it is easy to just push it back in rather than holding it.  Another great thing about this product is that it doesn't drop down to the ground easier.  Since there's more weight to it, it stays on her lap if it falls there first instead of bouncing to the ground.  It's also easy for adults to locate in the middle of the night.  The only negative about this product is that the pacifier does not detach from the animal.  This makes it impossible to sterilize by boiling and if something happens to the pacifier you have to get rid of the entire thing.  I would probably buy more to keep around if the price wasn't so high but I did buy two at the price that it's at so it really is worth it!

A must have for a happy baby and happy mommy

The wubbanub is possibly the greatest invention ever made!  They have been such a lifesaver to this new mom.  my son would only take a soothie pacifier, but he was a really small baby at just six pounds so he had a small mouth and had a hard time keeping the soothie pacifier in his mouth.  This was the answer to my prayers.  If you are super dessperate and need one immediately, you can take a stuffed animal (i happened to have a beanie baby on hand) and just sew the soothie pacifier in the mouth of it yourself.  But it would be so much easier to just order it.  The stuffed animal is super soft and cuddley and my son loved having it near him.  I will make sure to have a couple wubbanubs on hand for this next little one so i won't have to make my own this time.  i love to give this item as a baby shower gift and the moms love it too.  This is such a useful item and can't say enough about them. I wish i had been the one to think of it.  if your baby is a soothie baby then your really need ot have a wubbanub

This paci is a MUST HAVE

When my son was born I let him go to the nursery and low and behold they brought him back in with a pacifier. I didnt say anything about it so it was my fault. Well the ones that they have are the soothies! He loves soothies he refuses all other pacifiers. So i searched for holders for them since there not like other pacifiers in store that you can just pick up anywhere lol. And i stumbled up on a wubbanub! I was in love the minute i saw them, We bought him the giraffe one. After he got use to something on his pacifier he was hooked as well. He now has to have that pacifier everywhere he goes. He sucks on the feet and everything. And has to have it when he goes to sleep. If he sucks on a regular soothie he has to hold on to his wubbanub lol. It is a great item. There is very little weight to it but it helps hold the pacifier in the mouth. and now he can put it back into his mouth on his own unlike a regular one. I have not done the whole cleaning thing with it yet. There very cute and REAL easy to find. I lose pacifiers like crazy and havent lost this one yet and its been about a month since we got it

The WubbaNub Giraffe Pacifier is a Must Have.

My soon-to-be sister-in-law is a giraffe keeper at a zoo.  Imagine my excitement when I found this WubbaNub Giraffe as a gift for her niece!  WubbaNubs are a fantastic creation. They are easy to find if dropped. Easy to clean in the washing machine (gentle cycle in a mesh bag and air dry). The one-piece construction allows for easy cleaning - no small cracks for dirt to be stuck in.  Hospital recommended (made from hospital grade silicone with no BPA, no latex, no PVC, and no phthalate, this pacifier is as safe as safe can be). Based on the First Years Soothie pacifier. It is amazing how easy it is for baby to get this pacifier in his mouth all by himself. When my sons aren't sucking on the pacifier end, they are snuggling with the plush end.  The Soothie pacifier is the pacifier of choice of hospitals nationwide.  My sons have both loved the WubbaNub! They love having the pacifier and the plush animal. They enjoyed mom's finger in the pacifier to soothe sore gums.

Great for Preemies

My twin girls were born 6 weeks early, and during their time in the NICU, they got hooked on their Soothie pacifiers.  Unfortunately, they didn't have the strength or the suck control to keep them in their mouths.  I did some research, and found the WubbaNub.  What a fantastic invention.  They add just enough weight to hold them in baby's mouth without being dangerous.  The added size also makes it easy to find the pacifier in the middle of the night when you don't want to turn a light on.  We bought a dog and a cat version, and we liked the cat better, since it was softer and more "cuddly".  One review said it was hard to wash, but I didn't think so.  I just threw them in the washing machine with "free and clear" detergent, and let them air dry.  It was no problem at all!  I couldn't have done those first months with twins without our WubbaNubs, that's for sure.  They were the only pacifiers we used.

Baby's favorite pacifier!

Our little one loves his Wubbanub pacifier.  Now it has become a little comfort item, not only the pacifier but also the animal attached.  Our son holds the little animal as he falls to sleep.  We don't go anywhere without one!  During the night when it falls out of his mouth he can easily find it and we do not find ourselves looking for the pacifier in the middle of the night.  It's also great in the car because it doesn't fall far!  Now we give them as gifts to any new babies we know.  We have not found a store that carries them but they are easily found online.  The pacifier does not detach from the animal, but so far this has not been a problem for us. Also, the animal is only attached to a soothie pacifier so a child would have to like that particular kind.  We're fortunate because that is the one our little one got used to in the hospital. Would highly recommend to anyone for themselves or to give as gifts.

A must-have if you love the First Years Soothie pacifier!

The Wubbanubs are an absolute must-have if your baby loves the hospital soothie pacifiers.  My son wouldn't take any other pacifier and so I went online and purchased the same ones that our hospital gave us - the First Years soothie pacifiers.  The problem, of course, was that these pacifiers fall out and don't allow you to use a pacifier strap.  I researched for hours online and found these wubbnubs.  They were the perfect solution!  They basically sew theses pacifiers onto a really soft plush animal - genius!  I should have thought of this myself!  Our son instantly grew attached to his wubbanub!  Not only did it prevent the pacifier from falling our but our son would hold onto the plush animal and it became his lovie!  The only downside is that this thing is a pain the butt to wash.  You can stick it in the washing machine but the pacifier is forever stuck onto it so if you want to sterilize the pacifier itself you need to basically hold the whole wubbanub over hot water to clean the nipple.  Other than that, these are wonderful pacifiers and highly recommended.

My baby girls WubbaNub is her best friend!

5

My baby girl loved pacifiers since birth! She was is love with the hospital provided pacifier, which ended up being a problem because we were constantly loosing it and you cannot buy those in stores!!! She also loved holding her pacifier in her mouth which her pediatrician thought was amazing, but she also liked to pull it out as well! So we looked around for a pacifier that was similar to the hospital supplied one, we then found the Soothie brand pacifier. It took her a few days to adjust to it, and realize that we weren't going to give her her beloved hospital pacifier back! My fiancé went online that week to see if her could find a pacifier holder to attach to her car seat, so we wouldn't loose it. He ended up finding the WubbaNub, which has a Soothie pacifier attached to a small stuffed animal. We thought it was ingenious! She didn't have to adjust to a new type of pacifier. She now has her pacifier and a little stuffed friend that she brings everywhere! It's hard to loose, she loves the little stuffed animal, and it really does soothe her!
