World's Best Multiple Cat Clumping Formula

Works well for our two-cat household!

4

We tried two other kinds of cat litter before this - Feline Pine (which the cats hated and resulted in unfortunate accidents) and Fresh Step (which worked well in terms of odor control, but was much too dusty.) So we transitioned our two cats to World's Best Multiple Cats, and have never looked back since. Odor control is excellent (but it takes a little time for it to kick in, so the initial moments after a fresh deposit are somewhat unpleasant); clumps very well and is easy to scoop out/clean up. We haven't really had tracking problems with this litter; not more so than with the other brands. The only drawbacks are its price (it is rather expensive) and we did experience a couple of bags with bugs, but that was fine once we moved on to another bag. Definitely worth a try -- you can also get a rebate when buying your first bag, which makes it free after rebate!

Tried everything and this is the best!

I've tried every cat litter out there. Some are natural and claim to work wonders...but this one actually works! I have two indoor cats. They each have their unique personalities and litterbox habits. One is twenty one pounds and one is seven and a half pounds. The twenty one pounder is like a bulldozer in the litter box. He also has a very bad habit of using other locations if the litter box is not deemed acceptable in his picky little mind. He hasn't had an "accident" since I started using this litter. Some of the other reviews have mentioned how cats track this litter all over the place. I have not found this to be true at all. It actually seems to have helped that problem. I have found that mixing it with other clumping litters is a great combination and the "best of both worlds". I am planning on converting soley to the "Worlds Best Cat Litter" as it is more environmentally friendly. I know this litter is supposedly flushable but with our tempermental septic tank I wouldn't try that. I may choose to dump it out in the forest if I see that it truly disinegrates.

Buy Feline Pine or ExquisiCat Pine litter instead

I wanted so very badly to love Best World's Cat Litter. I am required by the animal rescue I volunteer for to use clay-free cat litter for the health of my foster cats' lungs. After trying Feline Pine and ExquisiCat Pine litters, I decided to try this brand of litter. It is made of corn, and is flushable. For the plus sides, it is great that this litter is scoopable. I found that it does a good job of coating the poo and clumping the urine together. As for the negatives, I found it more expensive than the other brands, I go through it more quickly so I need to buy it more often, and it seems to track worse than the pine litters do. But the very worst part of this cat litter though is the poor odor control. All natural cat litters have worse odor control than the chemical and silica dust laden clay litters do, but at least with the pine if I change it every week it is acceptable. This litter does not mask odors at all, and even seems to absorb them.

Worlds Best Cat Litter....NOT!

1

I purchased this item because it came with a money back guarantee. Good thing.....because this product was the worst cat litter I have ever used for my cat! The initial smell of it left a bit to be desired. Figuring that since I keep the litter box in the basement, I would overlook that issue. My biggest issue was that although it did clump, the clumps completely fell apart when being scooped out of the litter box. I feel scoopable litter should last more than 2-3 days. This litter did not! For the cost, I was very disappointed in this litter.

very dissappointed

I tried this product because I liked the fact that it is all natural and better for my pet and environment. However, I think it needs a lot of improvement. It does not clump well so a lot of it was wasted. Tracks all over the place and it doesn't cover odor all that well.

World's Best Cat Litter is clean and environmentally friendly.

I have probably tried every cat litter on the market, including the wheat-based litter, and have never been totally happy with any. But actually, who is? Cat litter is yucky at best, but it's a necessarily evil of indoor cat ownership. A friend recommended World's Best. It is a clumping, scoopable cat litter made from corn. My friend said his cat took to it immediately (changing from clumping clay litter), it was practically dust-free, and it really neutralized the smell. So based on his recommendation I tried it and was sold as immediately as my two cats took to it. I had started with the original formula and was so happy with it that I figured the multiple-cat formula would be even better. Not really. The multiple-cat formula smells a lot stronger and makes the lanai smell like a barn. The original formula has a very faint corn smell to it and completely hides or neutralizes the cat urine and feces smells. So I will stay with the original formula. And the fact that it is made from corn means that my cats are not inhaling the clay dust that has caused so many respiratory problems in cats AND their people. I'm sold on World's Best!

World's Best Cat Litter Not the Best

2

We have two long haired cats and it is important for us to have a cat litter that gets the job done right. There are some pro's to World's Best Cat Litter but it's not the cat litter for us. There are two types of World's Best Cat Litter, clumping formula and multiple cat clumping formula. This cat litter is natural, made from whole-kernel corn, and it's flushable. On the other hand it only does an ok job of masking the odor, it is very dusty when scooping or pouring, and it does not clump tightly. It will clump but as you scoop the cat litter you will notice the clump falls apart back into the litter box which is probably why it does not do a great job with the odor. Our cats could care less what we use so it is all about what works best for us. We tried this cat litter because there was a rebate to try the cat litter free. Considering we were able to try it free, it was worth trying but we plan on sticking with our usual cat litter.

World's Best Cat Litter Is Just Okay

I didn't really think that World's Best Cat Litter was that great. It's not totally terrible, but not the world's best. I liked it at first as it seemed to do a good job at odor control. I only have one cat so I thought using a catt litter for multiple cats would cut down on odors and frequency of changing the litter. However, this clumping formula seemed really weird. It didn't exactly clump, it was more like it became paste-like. I don't want to be too descriptive, but this is a review afterall. The wet pasty patches were so gross, and they stuck to the bottom of the litter box. It made it more difficult to change the litter, and that great odor control only lasted about one day. After that it was stinkier than many other good quality cat litters. It was just weird and there are a few other cat litters I like a lot better. I would use this if I had to, or if I was broke and this was on a super sale. Other than that, I don't think I'll use this again.

Flushable litter!

4

We switched to World's Best Cat Litter from Swheat Scoop because Swheat Scoop infested our house with weevils.  World's Best is pretty good stuff.  We chose to buy it because we wanted a litter that was flushable.  It is no fun to walk all the way down to the dumpster every time I have to clean the litterbox; the flushable aspect makes it very convenient.  It clumps together quite well, but we have not been very impressed with the odor control.  The cat also tracks it around when she is done using the litterbox.  I'm not sure if that would be a problem if you have one of those mats that is supposed to help prevent tracking (we don't have one).  Also, this stuff is environmentally friendly, particularly compared to the clay stuff.  I'm not big into being "green," but if you are, it's a great product from that standpoint.  Bottom line:  it clumps, it is flushable, but our litterbox still smells like a litterbox.

awesome and easy to clean up

For over ten years, I have exclusively used regular (non-clumping) cat litter just because it was the cheapest, and I figured it was ridiculous to spend money on cleaning up cat excrement.  Well, at the prompting of a coupon and a "free with mail in rebate" offer, I tried this World's Best Cat Litter, the clumping formula that is especially formulated the control the odor caused by multiple cats and this has been a dream.  It is so easy and so much faster to clean the cat pans for my two cats.  The litter is still all over the floor around the pans, but it really does clump up nice in the pan, and I feel like there is a lot less waste than when I used the cheap, non-clumping formula that I would have to throw out a lot more litter each week with the pan change.  Now, with the clumping formula, I just simply use my straining scoop and all the clean, still-usable cat litter just sifts down back into the pan!
