Eddie Guerrero wasn't just a fantastic pro wrestler, character, and person, he was a friend. When he died in November 2005 at age 38, I felt as though I could never watch wrestling again. A part of the joy was gone forever. His wife and children were left without a husband and father and we, the fans, were left without arguably one of the best entertainers and pure wrestlers in sports entertainment. This T-shirt commemorates him and his life and all proceeds go to his family. What's more, it's reduced from $20.00 to $10.00. Help a family, commemorate a true legend.

I used to work for a wrestling company called World Championship Wrestling. WCW was owned by Ted Turner and was a real force to reckoned with during the late 90's "Monday Night Wars" between WCW and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Long story short, WWE eventually won the battle and bought WCW. Before that happened, one of WCW's major stars, Eddie Guerrero, made the jump to WWE where he would go on to become the World Champion and one of the most beloved wrestlers and characters in the "sport".
Yes, I know wrestling is predetermined and is entertainment. I was backstage at hundreds of events. But I also know it takes someone special to be a bad guy and a good guy and be loved no matter what. Someone special to wrestle straight mat style and then mix it up with antics and hijinx. Someone special to do high flying, dangerous moves. Someone special to be able to call my friend in the crazy, backstabbing world of pro wrestling.
So, this is coming from my heart and I apologize if it isn't straight on factual. I'll do my best.
The T-shirt
This all cotton T-shirt comes in black with a beautiful image of a somber Eddie Guerrero on the front along with his name and birth and death years. On the back was Eddie's most famous catch phrase, "Viva LaRaza" in red.
It comes in sizes Small to XXXXL and is now just $10.00.
Why Buy This Shirt
All proceeds from this shirt are going to Eddie's wife Vicki and his daughters, They were left without a husband and father and having just purchased a new home weeks before Eddie's untimely and shocking death from an enlarged heart.
November 13, 2005 won't soon be forgotten by Eddie's family, friends, and fans. It was a somber, horrible, dark day. I cried for hours. I didn't just lose an entertaining wrestler whom I enjoyed on TV, I lost a great friend who was most gracious and accommodating to me while I was in WCW, something rare when a woman steps into the men's area backstage (who isn't there for a little , uh, fun).
By going to WWEShop.com and picking up a few of these shirts, you're helping a family and you're paying tribute to Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero who gave everything he had to make the fans happy.
He wasn't perfect and admitted it. He had just finished a book (see review) and a DVD (see review) which, ironically were called "Cheating Death, Stealing Life" and they came out just weeks after his death. So ironic, so sad.
My Viewpoint
I could tell you stories about Eddie and I could make you get to know the man, the friend that he was. But I won't. I am reviewing the T-shirt, not the man. Sadly.
I give this shirt 5 stars. For only $10.00, it would make ANY wrestling fan a great gift. It's a collector's item and it won't be around much longer.
