The idea of Woot is that it offers only one product a day, it's usually an electronic gadget, at a great price. You don't know how much is left, and once it's gone, it's gone. — — I've only used Woot once (to buy a set of earbuds), but I find myself going to Woot everyday to check out the deals and the descriptions. The deals are usually great bargains but will not appeal to everyone. I LOVE WOOT!!! We stay up every night to wait to see what the next woot is. They have what they call a bag of crap with misc. items in it and if your lucky enough to get one you can get cool things (some people have received wii's etc...). Thank you to a local news channel who did a short segment on one a day websites and we discovered woot about a year ago and have became addicts! I became addicted to Woot a little over two years ago. It now sits in my Firefox bookmark bar among the other sites I check daily. I've bought quite a bit from Woot and I've never had a problem with any of it, including the 37" LCD TV that I bought for $500 (!!) from them. $5 shipping on that one too. The "Woot-offs" are particularly addictive: instead of just one product for the day, they rotate products in as one sells out. I have tried to share my love for woot with everyone that I meet.  Woot's angle is selling a ton of one thing and selling only that thing for 24 hours.  This allows them to sell at thin margins to make their profit.  We gotten vaccums at $200 off, nice mp3 players for $15 and Christmas presents for well over 50% off.  If you want what they're selling, don't even bother looking for a better deal, because you won't find it.  And a little hint, if you see a "Bag Of Crap" being sold for $5, buy it!  People have gotten big screen TVs in their "bags of crap". … read full review »

  Last year,  I bought my twin girls 2 portable dvd players for their birthday from Woot , to my surprise they are still working, I thought this place was going to be like many other places I will buy from, that things look good until they ship them to you, then they are really junk, but I still have no problems with this online store.  I also love that their shipping is $5.00. I love this website. I live in Texas so when midnight rolls around sometimes I run to the computer to see what's on woot. I looking forward to Two for Tuesdays and every fourth or fifth Thursdays for a woot-off, two days of hardly any sleep! I love woot!  And shirtwoot too!  It's the first thing I do in the morning - after lettting the dog out.  I have gotten some great deals on woot. I heard about woot from co-workers at work and when i bookmarked it i was hooked. I checked it everyday, read the quirky descriptions, and i even got on their podcast once. Woot was great for about the first year, i had bought about 5 things with no big deal....But recently woots 5 dollar shipping is not shipping with fed ex smartpost!
