Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner

Nothing special.

Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner performed no differently than a normal carpet cleaner would. It works great for little spills on the carpet and stuff like that. It did nothing for the area by my door that gets a lot of traffic and has discoloration due to said traffic. I have an area on my carpet by my door that you can tell get's a lot of traffic in and out of the house. It is a little bit darker in that area due to the grime and whatnot that's been brought it from outside. I saw the Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner and thought that was the exact thing I had been needing! I followed the instructions. It had a little bit of a chemical scent to it but it was not over powering. The foam that came out of the can wasn't all that foamy. I let the product work it's magic [or lack of]. I vacuumed it up and noticed no difference in the area whatsoever. I've continued to use the product on random areas where food got dropped or my cat had an accident and it works fine for those areas. It just doesn't do what it claims for high traffic areas. I recommend it as just a normal carpet cleaner. Not one for high traffic areas.

This works on those spots that always get stained

I use this on the areas of my carpet that are the beaten path, especially areas where people have shoes on, or my dogs are walking. I won't say it makes the carpet look like new, but it definitely freshens it up and makes it smell much nicer. It is very easy to apply and use, and I feel like the foam gets into the carpet fibers better than other products that are out there.

Great for Pet Owners!

I love, love, love Woolite Foam Carpet Cleaner! Our whole house, except bathrooms and kitchen, is carpeted. We also have two small easily excited, not perfectly trained dogs. We were having an issue shortly after moving with inappropriate potty behavior. Often I wouldn't notice till a day or so after the accident so I was left with little urine stains. Not Ok! I needed a product to help me save our carpet while we working on potty training. I sprayed the product on a stain and went about my business; a few minutes later I come back with a rag and rub the area--stain and odor gone! In fact, the foam was so effective, sometimes I had a hard time finding the area I sprayed in order to scrub it! I have also used it on dark marks left from shoes or other dirty objects. Performance The absolute only negative I can come up with is that it runs out quickly--sometimes the foam comes out too thick and can be wasted. Scent It smells really nice!

Heavy Traffic or Heavy Stains, Woolite lifts em away

In my house, I have primarily hardwood floors. But in two places we have just a spot of carpeting and we all know how carpets and rugs car get in-ground dirt and stains that take more than just the vacuum to get out. A few years ago we were having issues with not only the children creating messes, but also the animals so we needed to find something that would take out the mess. Husband of mine came home with the Woolite Heavy Traffic as an answer to our problems. For those heavy duty stains and ground in dirt areas Woolite Heavy Traffic has deep cleaning action. Not only that, the formula contains scotchgard to also protects the carpet once cleaned. The cleaner comes in a spray can and is usable with the Woolite Rug Stick (which I don't have) or just manually. (remember to vacuum first and test your fabric). Once you shake the can up, the cleaner comes out as a wide spray and then foams up to spread across the area to be cleaned. Performance In our experience the Woolite Heavy Traffic Foaming Cleaner lifts the stains out pretty well. For deeper set stains you can wet the carpet first and allow the cleaner to set for a while to penetrate the dirt. Just recently I pulled the can out again after a vomiting incident. It seemed to prevent a lot of the mess from setting in (really should not have had pizza for dinner that night). Though there is still some stain left, I didn't completely attend to the mess right away either. I then re-applied the last of my can and scrubbed pretty good and the stain seems to be subsiding. Scent The scent of the formula is a fresh clean scent, with a touch of chemical. It isn't noxious and helps cover the scent of what you are trying to clean up.

Woolite Heavy Traffic Carpet Cleaner is Good for Small Jobs

Carpets need vacuuming on a regular basis but every now and then, they could also use a good cleaning with shampoo or steam. One could spend the money to purchase or rent a professional cleaning machine, but a less expensive option to try is **Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner.** **Cleaner Facts and Commentary:** Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner is a simple cleaner that requires a quick spray on the floor followed by a run- over with a sponge mop to spread it around the carpet area. Those who own the Woolite Rug Stick can attach this can to the stick and use it for cleaning, as directed. Once dried, the carpet needs to be vacuumed to pick up the foam and the loosened carpet dirt and grime. Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner is a good product for occasional cleaning and it makes a good choice when you need to keep a specific area clean from heavy foot traffic or everyday stains. The product has a nice scent and it can be used on most carpets and floor coverings, including those made from nylon, wool, and acrylic. Just spray, sponge, let dry, and vacuum your stains away. Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner is good for basic cleaning and it makes a good choice for spot cleaning and for cleaning areas where carpet is worn- down and grimy. It cannot take the place of a professional steam cleaning, but it does perform well when used for small jobs. One problem I have with this product is that a single can just doesn't last. The can says it is good for about 170 square feet but it seems like less than that to me. It would take multiple cans to clean the carpet in a single room. **My Bottom Line:** Carpets do get worn out and Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner is a good choice for those who need some simple spot- cleaning of stained areas or high- traffic, worn down areas. It won't eliminate every stain every time, but it is certainly worth a try and can save a lot of money when compared to the cost of renting a professional machine or paying a professional to do the work. Performance Goot at getting rid of small stains Scent Nice, clean, acceptable scent

Woolite Works Wonders

Like most families, my carpet has a "lane" of dirt that develops from people walking back and forth through the living room. With just one use, Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam cleaned that traffic lane so that I could barely tell where it had been. I didn't have the Rug Stick so I followed the "manual use" directions. Basically, I sat on the floor, squirted out some foam in a small area, spread it around into the carpet fibers with a slightly damp cloth, and moved down the line repeating the process. Performance It took about two hours for the foam to dry completely, and I vacuumed the area thoroughly. It doesn't take the place of a thorough steam cleaning, but it certainly works well to touch up high traffic areas quickly and easily. Scent The scent of the foam was fresh and fairly light. Even up close, it didn't have a strong chemical smell, which pleased me greatly.

Great For Spills on Carpets

My granddaughter likes to carry around her sippy cup, and occasionally I will get a spot or two on my brand new carpet. Wanting to keep it looking like new, I get out my can of Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Cleaner. My mom used to use this on her entire living room, working the foam into the carpets with a sponge mop. I have a portable steam cleaner that works to clean my carpets when I need to clean an entire room, but this can of Woolite works great for spot cleaning. It claims to clean and protect (it contains Scotchgard 3M protector), and can be used for not only carpets but upholstery as well. Since our furniture is made of leather I can't speak for how it works in that manner. The directions state to vacuum the carpet before applying. Spray the carpet, (and I always get over spray so I have to be careful when I am near furniture or my hard wood floors), then work it in with a damp sponge or mop. When it is dry you then vacuum your carpets again. The can is supposed to clean a room up to 170 square feet. This works well to clean small areas that have become dirty from food spills, drink spills, or the occasional dirty shoe. It's a great product to have on hand, and it even works well for those times when our older dog has an accident on our carpet. I like to have this carpet cleaner on hand at all times, it is very handy. Performance Good for small jobs, but too much work to do an entire room Scent Not too bad of a scent, but not my favorite

Woolite Heavy Traffic Foam Carpet Cleaner: Very helpful.

It's hard to believe but it has been 7 years since I purchased many of our area rugs to cover and accent the living areas over our hardwood floors.  Vacuum and spot clean as we may, I started to notice that perhaps the background colors in my area rugs were not as light or bright as they once were. I still like the colors and the patterns and since I peeked at prices while buying paints (yes, it was time to repaint some rooms after 7 years) I didn't really want to replace area rugs that I still liked at this point. Hence comes the purchase of **Woolite Heavy Foam Traffic Cleaner**.  There are different levels of directions for using this product.  I took the easy route.  I sprayed it over two area rugs, covering the areas well and rubbing in with a damp cloth on obvious spots.  I let it dry for two hours and vacuumed away. **And boy did I vacuum away!**  I was really amazed at how much lighter and brighter my area rugs looked. Woolite Heavy Traffic didn't take away all "spots," nor it promise too so a repositioning of small furniture took care of that. ***My Viewpoint: *** Woolite Heavy Foam Cleaner did really make my carpets look tons better considering the minimal manual labor.  I also liked the fresh, clean scent. My only gab would be how much was in the bottle.  I was only able to cover the high traffic areas of two large rugs which surprised me considering the size of the bottle.  I'll need more to tackle steps and hall carpets but at least I'll know it really does work when I buy it again.
