Woolite is a brand that makes you feel really safe about washing your beloved clothes, especially the delicate ones. My mother always used Woolite detergent for all of her handwashing, and it is what I have always used as well. When I discovered Woolite Dark Laundry Detergent, I knew it was something I needed in my laundry arsenal. After one try, I was hooked. I don't know if it is the name that gives me that peace of mind, or if it really is just an amazing product, but I really feel like it keeps my darks looking darker, longer. We have very hard, salty well water at our house, and I feel like it really tends to fade clothes more quickly than most other water normally would. I started using this product and I really feel that it slowed the fading process down a lot. It smells lovely, a little bit goes a long way, and in the end, Woolite is a brand you can trust. Performance Keeps my darks from fading and keeps them looking new longer. Scent The smell is amazing. Makes my clothes smell fresh and the scent stays with the clothes for days.

Maybe I'm a rarity but I don't have problems with my family's clothes fading. If any of our clothes have faded, I guess we just don't notice. That said, I don't feel like we need Woolite Dark Laundry Detergent, however, I like the idea of it. I received a few samples of this detergent and was curious to see if I'd notice any difference in my finished laundry. I set it aside until I had a new dark item that needed washing, which ended up being my daughter's brand new black t-shirt. After washing and drying the shirt, I honestly did not notice any difference, which is exactly what Woolite Dark Detergent is intended to do. I continued using the detergent on dark loads with the results being laundry-as-usual. In regards to keeping our clothes from fading, I really don't see me buying this product very often, if at all. I guess if I had some special items that I really wanted to preserve, then that would be the occasion for using Woolite Dark Detergent. It's important to note that this product also claims that it won't cause stretching or shrinking. Like almost everyone, those are problems that my family has with our clothes. However, I have never attributed those problems to the detergents that I use; I just assumed that it was due to the types of fabric. Overall, I think that the only way to determine if this product is working is by using it long-term. Because of the higher price, that might not be feasible for everyone. Performance The loads of laundry came out clean and I did not notice any fading. Scent The scent is light and pleasant. It doesn't linger on my clothes after they are removed from the dryer, which is a bit of a disappointment but not a deal-breaker.

Since the majority of our household's clothing is darks, I want to make sure that they are taken very good care of. I decided to try out the Woolite Dark Laundry Detergent. So far I have been pleased with the detergent. When I use the detergent, I always use cold water and set it on the hand wash setting. Our darks seem to have kept their color somewhat better since we have started using this special detergent for darks instead of our regular detergent. The Woolite Dark Detergent also smells really good! The detergent is a bit overpriced in my opinion. Another drawback is that it is often hard to find this particular detergent in the store. Overall though we've been pleased with this detergent and will continue to use it to help protect our darks!

I have used Woolite for years to keep my delicates delicate and becuase of that I was excited to try **Woolite Dark Laundry Fabric Wash** to keep my dark clothes dark when it first appeared on the market! (What a simple concept.) I *started* using **Woolite Dark Laundry** formula for my dark jeans but I soon discovered that it works equally well on my dark slacks, sweaters, shirts and flannel gowns. A 50 ounce bottle lasts a long time (about 25 washes) and takes up little space in my laundry room cabinet.  **Bottom Line:** Woolite Dark Laundry Fabric Wash helps my dark clothing resist fading so they stay dark and newer looking longer. I trust Woolite to be gentle and treat my clothes with care.  When I bought my front loader I was afraid that I would have to give up my Woolite Dark Laundry Fabric Wash, but I found that Woolite thought of that, too.
