I have recently fell in love with Wolfgang Puck knives.  No matter if you buy the ones that are value priced or the more expensive knives, they are truly exceptional!  I have never owned a better knife set.   I wish I would have received these much sooner.  I cut into a pineapple with one of these knives and it was so smooth and easy to cut.  I also chopped onions and peppers for tonights dinner, and it worked so extremely well.  I would buy these again and again....the price is truly great, and the knives are so wonderful.  I love the wooden block that they come in, as it is very sturdy and stays clean.  Handwashing is super important for these, as they will rust if you pu them into the dishwasher.  They are so nice, sturdy, and heavy duty.  I know these will last me a very long time if I take care of them properly.  They are so sharp, and I can't wait to continue to use them.  These make each meal exciting to prepare!

We have bought and discarded many knive sets in the over 20 years my husband and I have been married. A few years ago for Christmas I spent quite a bit of money on Henkel knives for my husband. That same Christmas my brother in law bought a set of Wolfgang Puck knives for my  mother in law for Christmas. My husband and I were very impressed with the knives and asked my brother in law how much they had cost him and he quoted us quite a high price as my mother in law looked on.  We thought they were worth the money and even though we had just purchased 2 new sets of Henkels we decided to buy the Wolfgang Puck knives. We went to the website where my brother in law had purchased the knives and thought we had the wrong set as the price was significantly higher than the price he had quoted in front of my mother in law. So we called him and he confirmed that he had mislead us all since the knives were such good quality. So we bought the set of Wolfgand Puck knives.  It has been a few years now and I have to tell you all three sets of knives are on my counter top but every time we reach for a knife, it is a Wolfgang Puck.

Bought these for my husband at the warehouse club and couldn't be happier. I'd been looking for sharp santoku knives and the prices are outrageous on the really good ones. Even tried the home shopping channels but, with shipping, it wasn't worth the price. These Wolfgang Puck knives fit the bill. The four sizes are perfect for jobs from tiny to huge. You don't need a larger set than this. I use the smallest two knives most often for chopping and even peeling. They are super sharp and cut through even raw meat on the first try. The largest knife is huge. I think I've used it to slice a watermelon but can't imagine how many more uses there are for such a long blade. I'm sure I'll find out, though, as the set seems really durable and I'm likely to have them around for awhile. I also like the fact that the knives came in a wooden block I can set out on the kitchen counter. I've heard that wood can encourage bacteria so I just make sure the knives are completely dry before I put them in the block. They also should be washed by hand, not in the dishwasher, to keep them sharp.

I received these knives for Christmas, I am not a great cook, but with two young children I am always slicing fruits, veggies, etc.  These are super sharp, durable and just the right size for anything-Love them!
