Needing a new fry/saute pan, I was checking out the homeware aisles at some of the local discount stores.  I found this Wolfgang Puck Bistro 11" Covered Saute Pan, on sale of $17.  It retails for $40.  What a bargain.

The great Wolfgang Puck brand.  High quality with deep sides so it is large enough to hold a lot.  Made of stainless steel for durability and consistent cooking results.  It has an encapsulated aluminum disc in the base that gives you more even heating and cooking.  You can actually cook using lower than normal temperatures.  It also has a tempered glass lid so you can see what's going on inside the pan without lifting the lid.  It also has stay-cool handles, is dishwasher safe (however, they recommend hand washing), is oven safe to 400 degrees even with glass lid and a limited lifetime warranty.

Being able to buy it at less than half price was great.  But, what's even better is the wonderful way it cooks...so evenly.  I love the way it looks and cooks, and cleanup is a snap.  Even though it is not a non stick pan, it cleaned so easily after frying up some meat and simmering sauces on top of that.

I would definitely recommend this cookware to anyone who loves a good product, and what is even better is being able to get it so cheap
