Wolfgang Puck 4 Cup Continuous Flow Food Processor —

The Wolfgang Puck Continuous Flow Food Processor is cute, handy, and just the right size for a small household. I've been trading in my 25+ year old kitchen appliances for new models, and I'm amazed at how powerful the little motors have gotten in that time! This model is small but very powerful; it slices a bunch of celery in seconds. Although the unit itself is small, the base is heavy and sturdy enough so you can concentrate on handling your food and not making sure the processor is moving all over your workspace. I really like the fact that it doesn't have 16 speeds to choose from and multiple buttons to clean around; I mean, all you ever really need in a food processor is stop, go, and pulse, which is what this one has. I like the reversable blades for shredding and slicing; you can get small or large pieces depending on which side of the blade you use. And I really like the feature of the little drawer in the base where you can store the extra disks when they're not in use. And somehow the base has enough space so you can push the cord up into it and keep it out of the way, too! The only drawback is the continuous flow feature, which is the reason I bought this model in the first place. The little chute coming out of the top of the food bowl is just awkward enough to make this unit tough to store in a cabinet. And I'm certainly not going to ever use the continuous flow feature again...after my first experience cleaning celery off the walls and ceiling of my kitchen! The ejector disk was so powerful that it shot sliced celery out of the chute so hard and fast that it just bounced out of the bowl I had sitting there and exploded all over the kitchen...and me! Nope, not going to do that again. I'm just thankful it was celery and not tomatoes or red peppers. I would have had to repaint my kitchen ceiling! Overall, I'm happy with my new little kitchen gadget, but I wish I had just stuck with a regular bowl without the extra "advantage," so I would recommend going with the bigger unit without the "exploding" feature.
