For the first few months after we moved into our new house, we received catalogs and brochures for stores the old owners used to frequent. One such catalog was Wolferman's. I had never heard of Wolferman's, but one look through the catalog and I was in love.
Wolferman's began as a corner grocery store in Kansas City, MO in 1888. Now, it is one of the most respected gourmet breakfast food companies in the country. In another review, I wrote about "Gift of the Month" clubs in which I mentioned Wolferman's (Wolfermans.com) whose specialty is the stuff which English teas and breakfasts are made of ... freshly baked scones, muffins, crumpets, special preserves and spreads, etc. This division of Harry and David's are especially famous for their "Signature" English muffins. Although they have started to branch out to American stuff (such as Cinnamon or Pecan rolls to die for) their real thing is still the best of what you can expect when you attend an English-style tea.
