Environmental and non ethical

Someone in my company decided to give this as a treat, but here are some reasons it's not a great option. Honestly, I believe it's an environmental waste and an ethical disaster, and Wolferman's Bakery should help clients be more conscious. 1- Deliveries did not arrive on the same day. So people were no longer expecting it. And as it was not delivered directly to them. So people had to throw the food in the garbage after having a box of cheese and ham spoiled in the mailbox for an entire day! 2- Food comes packed with polystyrene and plastic containers all over the place. We can't call it "Good" quality food when you have to use environmental hazards and fly it from Kansas for food to go to waste. 3- Not inclusive. 2 people were vegan, and one did not eat ham. Wolferman's bakery should be ethically responsible for asking their clients to know group options. Please, do not fly food all over the country if people can't eat it. It's a colossal waste! Food takes up more space in US landfills than anything else. Don't claim you are good if your company does not have an ethical responsibility. In that case, you're not sustainable, inclusive, and environmentally friendly. You are contributing to the significant waste issues we have in the country. Businesses need to have a clear point of view and stand for a better planet if they are "good" for people.

Products contain GMO's- too expensive for that!

I purchased Wolferman's bakery items – pick 6. I was very surprised once I receive the items, nearly everything was labeled that the product has bioengineered ingredients in it. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. It is also not displayed anywhere in their website when you look up food items. I posted my review on Wolfermans website but they deleted it. this is why am writing it here. Now let's get to the bakery items taste – The scones are delicious. The English muffins, plain are delicious. I also purchased a cranberry citrus English muffin, that was not good, the flavor tasted like sage. if purchasing English muffins I recommend you stick to plain. The apple streusel loaf cake was OK. I believe it's competitive in purchasing at your local grocery store bakery section. And that'll be much cheaper too. Purchased the maple glazed buns and cinnamon buns/rolls. The directions are to microwave it then let it sit inside a wrapper for a couple minutes. The time was not enough too soften the cinnamon rolls. The outside shell was still hard. It's better to get the Pillsbury kind. Hot and soft. I don't think I will ever purchase from them again.

Product Is Good - Delivery is HORRIBLE

Product is good... Unfortunately, do NOT count on your gift being delivered on or close to your delivery date. This is the second year in a row that the mismanaged the delivery. My sisters gift was supposed to arrive 12/3, then it was pushed back to 12/8 and guess what, it's the 9th and she still has not received her birthday basket (12/4). She'll probably receive her Christmas basket before her birthday gift..... I am SO done with this company... Senior management is either clueless or incompetent at how awful their delivery method sucks. Additionally, you'd think they add staff to answer phone inquiries - yesterday I was on the phone over an hour had to call twice. I am currently on hold for 28 mins and counting...

JUST AWFUL!!

HORRIBLE!! First time buyer, ordered a gift on January 7 to be delivered by January 21. None of the links in their confirmation email worked, so I called customer service and was told my items were being labelled for shipment, which was a LIE. Called back, was told that since 1 item was unavailable my order was not sent. Why not contact me and tell me that? Or ask me to pick a substitute? Really awful customer service, DO NOT patronize this company, they just don't care at all!! Wish I could give ZERO STARS!!

Don't trust - bad communication

We placed and order on Dec 6 - it said would notify when it shipped. On Dec 16 - had not been shipped or received so contacted company - they confirmed our order and said it would be shipped soon. Dec 23 - still not shipped so contacted company again - now our item was out of stock and not available until Feb 2021 so we told them to cancel and refund. They stated order couldn't be cancelled because it was already in system - if not shipped should be able to cancel. They stated they would refund. On Dec 30 still not hearing anything (no refund to account) contacted yet again - they stated had done refund - we asked for them to send us a confirmation - said they would be right on it. Today as of Jan 2 - no refund or confirmation so emailed again - supposedly will have both within a day. Overall have been 16 emails with them - I feel like they just said things so I would go away. I get there is a pandemic and Mail has been really slow but don't lie to me and say it's on its way when it isn't or that you have item when apparently you don't. We order many food items as gifts or for our use but never again will we use Wolferman's - can't be trusted.

This was so disappointing, ordered for my son's birthday as he is all alone in the military. They let me ordered and then said it couldn't be delivered on a Monday. it would be a day after his birthday I then called waited 30 minutes on hold and said how about the Friday before? They said yes apologized blah blah. Friday comes around son never received and I call (another 35 minute wait) to find out when it would be delivered, hadn't even processed order. Rude didn't care totally unhelpful. The worst

Disappointment

We received a case with 4 packages of Wolferman's English muffins. What a big disappointment when we opened the packages and found all muffins spoiled, moldy.Quality Control or just plain inconsiderate and laziness. Where is the Wolferman's we used to know that had a quality product?

Wolferman's is not what it used to be

I placed an order 2 weeks before Christmas and half of the order was never delivered. I had to call 3 times to address the issue but they did eventually make it right. I used Wolferman's a lot several years ago and never had an issue but they need help now.

Very disappointed

I placed three orders as Thanksgiving gifts, with the orders supposedly scheduled to arrive before Nov. 22. Only 1 of the three arrived before Thanksgiving. One arrived the day after Thanksgiving and it was spoiled we had to throw it out. I called Wolferman's and was told I would be given credit for the one order that was not delivered on time. I asked to speak to the Supervisor because getting credit is not quite up to par with how you would compensate for embarrassment at how my family were disappointed to not get their Thanksgiving treats. I was promised twice that a Supervisor would call "in one or two days" and five days later I am still waiting for a call. I have been ordering Thanksgiving treats from Wolferman's for many years. It is very sad to see how much their customer service has deteriorated.
