I bought this unit because I have lung problems, I thought what the hell after looking over more expensive and cheaper everything I had read about this said it was a good value. Wrong, more like a great value this unit is quiet until it catches something in the air then whoosh it kicks into high gear and really cleans the air...I mean this thing is so sensitive to the air I fart in the middle of the night and by the count of ten this thing kicks into high gear!!! lmao! little noisy when it does but you get used to it! the unit has a cleanable filter have cleaned it twice in 8 mos...no problems! So if you want cleaner air at a low price I would recommend this unit!!! Ease of Maintenance little to no maintenance clean the fiklter when the light comes on! Dust/Allergen Removal have this in my bedroom sleep real well! Filter Availability haven't really needed to replace even after 8 mos Durability seems good enough for me
