Wine Country Gift Baskets —

Gifts are fun to buy, and even though Christmas is the season most often associated with giving, there are other holidays that also encourage gift- buying in one form or another. One such holiday is Valentine's Day and one online store that offers some unique gift ideas is  WineCountryGiftBaskets.com, an on- line store that sells gift baskets loaded with food, drink, and other special gifts.

Web Site Commentary:

Wine Country Gift Baskets offers many different gifts for the creative shopper and, unlike many people incorrectly assume, Wine Country Gift Baskets sells much more than wine. This on- line services offers hundreds of different baskets loaded with special items for your special someone. Besides wine, the site sells gourmet food baskets, event gift baskets (specially designed and selected for birthdays, get well, congratulations, holidays, and more), and specialty gift baskets that feature tea, coffee, spa items, and other assorted goods. Wine Country Gift Baskets also sells gift towers. Sold using various themes, these offer a stacked tower of snack items, wrapped in small gift boxes.

Wine Country Gift Baskets is a site I have used in the past and I have been very impressed with many aspects of this online service. Starting with the web site itself, the first impression of Wine Country Gift Baskets is very positive. The different basket types are organized into categories and each category contains several baskets. Some contain more than seventy selections, so there is no problem finding a basket to suit your desires. The presentation is top- notch, and it encourages the consumer to take a closer look.

Wine Country Gift Baskets naturally offers gift baskets that include wine, but if wine isn't on your gift list, never fear: There are plenty of other gift options available in this site. In fact, the majority of the baskets offered in this site do not include any wine at all. The merchant wisely realized that business would be limited if every basket included wine (Not just because of personal preference, but also because wine cannot be shipped through the mail to many U.S. states), so the product offering was expanded to include more options.

Many of the gift baskets sold at Wine Country Gift Baskets include an assortment of food and snack items sure to please the recipient. If you know someone who likes tea, coffee, chocolate, etc., there is a themed basket to match. There is even a special section that includes discounted baskets; one that includes baskets offered with free shipping; and one that includes expensive, premium wine, for gourmet tastes. And there is now a special selection that offers Valentine's Day Gift Baskets. Some of the Valentine's Day Gift Baskets include bottles of wine to share with your special someone, but most do not. The majority of the Valentine's Day Gift baskets offer snacks of various types, like chocolate, peanut brittle, caramel corn, pretzels, cookies, and other foods. Most of these are not your ordinary snack, like a plain chocolate bar or salted pretzel. Instead, the snacks feature more creative versions of these types of snacks like Godiva Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds and White Chocolate Covered pretzels. The goal of a gift basket is to impress by offering something out of the ordinary, and Wine Country Gift baskets succeeds with its unique product offerings.

Besides the different baskets offered, there is one other surprise with Wine Country Gift Baskets: The baskets themselves. This on- line web site considers the basket just as important as the snacks and wine, and special care is taken to offer a quality basket that matches up with the theme. There are wicker baskets, tin baskets, leather baskets, etc. The baskets are constructed with a higher level of quality than the ones commonly purchased at discount stores. These baskets are built to last, and many people will want to keep their basket and find other uses for it long after the snacks and/or wine have been consumed. Not only that, but the baskets offer the chance to preserve the special memories often associated with a unique and thoughtful gift. Long after the food and drink have been consumed, the basket still remains, reminding the recipient of the special thought that was involved in making a unique gift- buying decision.

Bottom Line Viewpoint:

Overall, I am happy with Wine Country Gift Baskets online store and I plan to revisit in the future. The presentation of the baskets in the site, the presentation of the baskets when shipped, and the quality of the snacks are substantially better than average. It makes a good choice for shopping when you're struggling to find the right present for someone and want a gift that most anyone will enjoy. And a Wine Country Gift Basket makes an excellent choice of gifts for the Valentine's Day Holiday. Whether your loved one likes wine, chocolates, cookies, or even shower gel or body lotion, Wine Country Gift Baskets has just the right basket to accommodate the special occasion.

I have had maybe 2 white and 2 red wines that I like, but would rather have a beer or mixed drink ;) may have to check out that site anyway. ;)

I'm not much of a wine drinker either. But the nice thing about this web site is that it sells much more than its name suggests. There are just as many (if not more) baskets without wine than with wine.

I am not big on wine, but I have tasted a few I like. Both red and white, but I could never tell you the name of them ;( I do like the lighter flavors though, but could not order without tasting. I know rednecks are so picky...lol Ron
