I received this a few days ago and waited for some decent weather before attempting to clean several outside windows including two second story hard to reach dirt catchers. What a joy! You simply rinse the windows first and scrub with the tools provided. Maybe this would be a good place to suggest that you read the instructions first. I did and I am glad I did. They work. After scrubbing with the pad and scrubber I rinsed the windows again and let nature take a hold on drying the remainder. Results: CLEAN, STREAK FREE WINDOWS. Not only that but it was easy and took far less time than previous methods. You can spray and clean over and over but I usually end up with a streak here or there. Drats. That means it is back to the redo to get rid of the streaks. I firmly believe that most streaks from cloths is due to using fabric softener but I am not a chemist.
I firmly believe that the Windex Outdoor All-In-One Glass Cleaning Too is a super handy tool for the easy to reach windows. For the second story windows you will need to have handy a sturdy pool to attach the cleaning pad. Windex provided a pad arrangement that takes their starter kit pole and included a hole in the bottom of the pad holder that has a screw hole to accept a user provided pole. Remember, their pole cannot be disassembled once you put it together. That is not a big deal, however, if you have other poles around the house.
I would like to see S. C. Johnson provide homeowners with a comparable kit for cleaning siding. Depending on the house orientation it is quite possible that the lack of sunlight will permit moss to grow on the house and cause the homeowner grief when attempting to get rid of it. If you use a product that is not flower friendly you can end up with a clean house and dead plants.
BOTTOM LINE: Will buy again and use it often. Thanks for making the product. Cheer, Cheer, Cheer.
