I thought the idea of Windex Outdoor All-in-One Window cleaner was a great idea. It comes in a box and is very easy to assemble. I couldn't wait to get the hose and try it on my outside windows. I live in a townhouse and unfortunately the pole wasn't long enough to do the upstairs windows.
First I tried it on my sliding patio doors. I sprayed them with the hose, and then wet the cleaning pad. I went all over the patio doors with the Windex cleaning tool, and then sprayed it again with the hose.
How did it look?
Unfortunately it dried and I had some streaking. This product states that it is sreak-free.
I wasn't put off so I did my other downstairs windows. These again had a few streaks on them
My car windows are awful, with the pollen, here in Florida. I dusted it off first and then gave it the Windex treatment. My windows were much improved but still not perfect.
My conclusion.
I have to say that I like the product and it was easy to use. I didn't have to reach up or rub the windows clean. It made me want to clean my window instead of just looking at them.
I really think this is a great idea but I would like to see streak-free windows and this didn't happen.
I would be reluctant to recommend this to friends and family.
The Windex Outdoor All-in-One Glass Cleaning Tool retails for $14.99, and a pad should clean approximately 20 windows. The double pack of refill pads cost $4.99.
