Windex Outdoor All-In-One Window Cleaner Review

Although I am generally a neat and very organized person around the house, I absolutely hate cleaning the outside windows! I procrastinate every year. What a hassle....I need a chair or step-ladder to reach the windows, window cleaner, squeegee, paper towels and a garbage bag to put the used ones in. It takes a couple of hours to do all the outside windows in this manner, plus I really hate wasting those expensive paper towels!

Finally, this morning, I mustered up the enthusiasm to attack the windows with the new Windex Outdoor All-In-One Window Cleaner. I still thought it was going to be a time-consuming hassle, and I wasn't convinced that the windows would end up clean, anyway. The windows were fairly dirty, and some of them had a light coating of hard-water deposits in areas (from getting hit with the sprinkler while watering plants).

I started with the sliding glass doors, and was immediately impressed with how quickly they looked good! And it was fast.....wet the window, scrub it down, rinse it off! Done! In a couple of minutes! With two garden hoses already in place, it took me only minutes to work my way around the whole house. Maybe 20-30 minutes from start to finish.

I just walked around and looked at the windows, now that the sun has come out and everything has dried. I am pretty happy with how good they look for the minimum amount of effort expended. They're not perfect......but definitely as good or better than if I had done them with my time-consuming and paper-wasteful method. Really, pretty good! And in not much time! I will most definitely use the Windex Outdoor Window Cleaner in the future, and I won't wait until next year! This was so easy, I'll want to have clean windows all the time. And I will recommend this to friends, as well.

I would have rated this Outstanding(5 Stars) if there were just 2 small changes to the product. First, I put the handle together before reading all the way to the end of the instructions, where it says that the handle can't be disassembled. I only used 2 of the sections, and I thought that I could just make it bigger later, if I needed to, but apparently you need to stick with one length. Adjustable would be more practical. Secondly, I would like the pad to be a little more abrasive (slightly) or to have a small section that is a little abrasive. That would have been helpful in a couple of areas. (However, even used as is, the light hard-water deposits were removed!)

All in all, I'm pretty impressed. I will buy the refills and recommend the product. And best of all.......the job is done!!!   :-)
