Windex is always good but pads too expensive compared to spray

3 star rating

not very handy, messy
Pros

Lightweight handle, All-in-one lightweight glass cleaning, Windex is always good.

Pads too expensive; not for apt bldgs, not long enough for upstairs windows

This Outdoor All-in-One Window Cleaner product didn't really apply to me in that I live in an apartment building four stories up, so the 11-foot pole wasn't meant for people like me who do  not live in regular houses and so cannot go outdoors in their yard to clean their windows. However, I passed the product on to a neighbor who has a one-bedroom apt. -- as compared with my 9X13" room -- because he has more windows than I do. He said he liked it, and was able to use the pole to reach the tops of his windows from the INSIDE. He and I both agree that Windex is a fine product and one that we both use, and the pole is a nice touch for higher windows, but that the price of the pads themselves is more than we want to pay. So we'll just continue using plain old Windex SPRAY with paper towels since we're both on tight budgets and cannot afford the luxury of the pads. I was also able to use the pole on a couple of my higher windows that are difficult to reach unless I stand on something, so the pole is very useful, even for apartment dwellers who live too far up to reach the outside of their windows. Windex is a very good product by itself.
