This new product is suppose to make outdoor window cleaning easy with a streak- free shine. This specially designed extension handle and a cleaning pad that is infused with windex cleaning products, allows for a four foot reach to the tops of the windows, all that is needed is to spray with a garden hose. After the window and the cleaning pad is wet, you simply rub the pad over the window causing te cleaning solution an the pad to clean off all the dirt and grime from the window. Then simply rinse off and allow to dry to a streak free shine.
The extension pole is a lot sturdier than I had expected, I have had similar products before and felt that the slightest bit of pressure used to scrub would actually break the pole. The Cleaning pad was a good size and it did have cleaning solution in it, it sudsed up a little, and it did clean the window well and dry to a 'streak free' shine. It claims to be able to clean 20 windows, I didn't have 20 to clean, but it did clean all that I needed it to. Bonus, The cleaning pad is the same width as my home siding and after I had finished with the windows, I was able to use the cleaning pad on some of the siding that has grime also.
The only design problem I had with this product was with the velcro type way of adhereing the cleaning pad to the pole head. It is not a great connection, while getting the product put together, I had a difficult time getting it to stay on. Once the product was wet and I started using it, it did seem to stay on good.
It is a little more expensive than I would have paid, but since I have it already, I would probably be willing to pay for the refil cleaning pads.
