I bought this pan when I was a newbie to cake decorating, so I was a little concerned that the results would not be good. I had never made a standing cake (the bear sits, but because the cake is upright, it is considered a standing cake). I had only made one decorated character cake at the time, so moving to what seemed like it should be a challenge seemed a big step. This reallly is a beginer friendly cake pan though.
