Wilton Perfect Performance Ultra Cast Fluted Tube Pan is a very creative pan. It does a fair to good job of cooking birthday cakes and various other cakes. The cakes come out almost perfect every time. It is made of sturdy steel that will last for years and years. Although this pan is a funny shape, the cakes come out looking lovely. This tube pan cooks cake mixes and batters quickly without burning your food. However, ingredients stick to the pan, unless you spray it or use oil on it. If you do that, it is easy to remove the cake or whatever you made in it. When you pour batter into this tube pan, it will catch all of it without making a mess. This pan does have a few drawbacks that make me give it 3 STARS. The design of this pan is hard to clean. It takes awhile, especially if there is any residue in it. The way it is shaped inside of the pan makes it hard to clean the nooks of it without a little elbow grease. It is also hard to hold in your hands, depending on what you are doing because of its size and shape. I think it performs well, and the design of it is tres chic. It is a very dependable pan. It consistently makes cakes the same shape every time. It is definitely something you should invest in, if you love to make cakes or you throw parties. I give the Wilton Perfect Performance Ultra Cast Fluted Tube Pan a "6" on a scale of 1-10, so I recommend it.

I purchased this Wilton fluted tube pan several years ago. I wanted a pan that would hold up for years and I am familiar with the Wilton name. I also wanted a non-stick pan for my cakes. I have found that if I follow the directions, this pan will work quite well. My recipe directions say to allow the pan to cool for approximately 20 minutes prior to turning it upside down for release of the cake. Those directions are very specific. If I try to rush things, the cake will stick to the pan every time. If I remain patient, the cake will release like it is supposed to and I have a wonderfully intact cake. The pan is very easy to clean, just use warm, soapy water. I do not put this pan in the dishwasher, so I can't say whether it would harm the finish or not. My advice to anyone contemplating purchase of this product would be to enjoy having this Wilton pan in your kitchen cooking pans. They really are great, innovative products. They are sturdy, durable and easy to clean.

The Wilton tube pan is really a good quality pan. It feels substantial, unlike some baking pans I've purchased. And that's important so that your items bake evenly--flimsy pans tend to burn your cake! So far I've not had any problems with uneven baking with the Wilton pan. I normally don't care for nonstick baking dishes. I tend to ruin them quickly because most cutting utensils are metal. I don't always want to take the cake out of the pan before I cut it! But when you're dealing with a Bundt-style pan, I think nonstick is pretty essential. There's no way around it! Since you would usually remove this type of cake from the pan for serving though, there's no problems. This pan's design isn't extremely detailed, but I like that. It's good for any occasion, and you can dress it up with things like powdered sugar or a glaze. Plus it always comes out great! Some of the really intricate pans hold on to the cake and you end up losing all the pretty details. If you only plan to own one pan of this style (as I do), I think this is a very reliable option.

My family and I love to bake. I saw numerous recipes for cakes that called for a pan of this size and shape, and I loved how they looked. I did some research and saw that Wilton pans were rated well for reliability. I didn't want to buy a pan that wouldn't last for a long time or that didn't do well with heat distribution. Buying this pan was a  Christmas gift for myself and my family, a practical gift that would bring enjoyment. This is a heavy pan, it is well made and not flimsy. It is compatible with the size called for in many recipes. The non stick finish guarantees that after all your effort, your  cake will not stick when you try to remove it from the pan. The fluted design adds a great touch to any recipe, and your cake will look great. I had purchased other pans in the past and I wasn't happy with them-they were too flimsy- the finish scratched easily, and they were difficult to clean. This is a good choice.

I happened to find one of the Wilton Tub Pans at a local garage sale in my neighborhood.  You can imagaine my excitement when I looked on the bottom and it had the Wilton insignia on it!  It was still a lovely pan even though it was used, so I was eager to add it to my bakeware!  It's got a gorgeous design and will be lovely for the upcoming holiday goodies.  I haven't had the opportunity to make a poundcake yet with it, but I appreciate the non-stick surface that it provides...a necessity with such an intricate pan design.  The pan itself is nice and heavy/sturdy and doesn't feel like it will warp or break.  I have even stuck mine in the dishwasher and it held up great!  Just make sure you use a good non-stick baking spray just to ensure that you get a clean release from all the nooks/crannies it contains, just to be safe.  It's a beautiful pan and I can't wait to make more goodies with it!
