I recently purchased a set of Wilton Pastel Silicone Baking Cups. When I got home and used them I discovered that they have a fill line built directly onto the inside, so I will never over or under fill the cups! What a wonderful surprise this feature is; I am grateful for it because I often add to much batter to the disposable cups and make a mess in the oven. I like that they are reusable and the cupcakes or muffins can be served in the cup or out. I take mine out (the cups leave a nice crinkle ridge all the way around). They are freezer, refrigerator, oven (to 500 degrees), microwave and dishwasher safe (I hand wash mine). A muffin tin is not needed to place them in, in the oven; just put them on a cookie sheet, however I bake with mine placed in a muffin tin. Remember to always grease the baking cups before using. The muffins or cupcakes pop easily out of the silicone if you have remembered to grease them, and because they do become very hot, letting them cool first is essential. This is the first time I have cooked with silicone, and everything seems to bake evenly with these baking cups.
