okay for a beginning player but won't "grow" with child

This is a great, inexpensive racquet for a child who has indicated an interest in learning tennis. Unfortunately, as your child grows and becomes more adept at the sport, this racquet will quickly need to be replaced by something that can be stung at a tighter tension. Perfect for the 4-6 yo group but I would suggest spending a little more money and purchasing a racquet that your child can become attached to and keep for a few years.
