I have many wonderful memories of baking press cookies with my mother while growing up. When I was pregnant with my second, I had a huge craving for her press cookies. I shopped around online looking for the same set my mother has, but I couldn't find anything like it. In fact, I didn't find much at all. I decided in the end to go with this set becuase it was the best price. When it arrived I called my mom and with excitement got her recipe which was very close to the one provided in the box. Everything turned out so perfectly until I tried to load the dough into the cookie press. It was much trickier than I remembered and my Mom's set seemed to be wider and easier. I did get the dough loaded eventually but when I tried to press the cookies, no where near enough dough came out. The box claims it only takes one click but it took me two clicks. After much practice I was able to get a nice cookie in only one click cut there was a definite learning curve.
