Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy star in "Wild Hogs" a hilarious movie about getting older and still having fun.

Plot:Four middle ages men decide to break the mundane mood and take their "hogs" on a cross country road-trip.

What I though:"Wild Hogs" had me laughing through...

Wild Hogs is a funny comedy movie about four men who want to escape the rat race and relive the freedom of their youth. They have many great memories of the life they once lived and they are each fed up with the hand life has dealt them thus far. They decide to ditch their lives for a free- spirited...

If there was a word for a "chick flick" for guys, it would be a "guy flick", right?  Well, this is one of those movies.  It's also a fun movie for women, as it has a lot of male actors that we have come to enjoy over the years.

John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy, play four good friends that ride motorcycles together, and call themselves the Wild Hogs.  Bored of everyday life, and feeling middle aged and dull, they set out for a cross country motorcycle ride.  The trouble they find along the way, and the witty banter they exchange back and forth, is fun to watch...

A cute buddy comedy about four middle-aged men who take a road trip to California by motorcycle. Tim Allen is Doug, happily married with a supportive wife. John Travolta is Woody, running from a failed relationship and financial downturn. Martin Lawrence is henpecked Bobby. William H. Macy - easily my favorite among the group - is shy, naive, nerdy computer programmer Dudley.

Their adventures on the road make a nice coming-of-age story without being overly taxing. It won't change your life - it didn't even change theirs - but it's good for a lazy Saturday afternoon's viewing.

Stand-up greats Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence, teamed up with superb actors John Travolta and William H. Macy, create an awesome ensemble cast here.

The premise is that 4 middle-aged guys, "weekend warriors" on their Harleys, decide to find adventure on a road trip, from Cincinatti to "the coast". They run amok of a "real" biker gang in the desert Southwest, and chaos ensues.

The story line is OK, the action is quite good, and the jokes are funny.

But the best part of this movie is the cast! Clearly, they had a ball making this film, and their chemistry as a group is unmistakable.

Cameos by John...

I didn't expect to like this movie, and wouldn't have even seen it if a friend hadn't invited us over for a "movie night" with this as the main feature. I typically don't like cornball comedy, and maybe it was the group setting we watched it in, but we all laughed our way through it. It's certainly cheesy, with plenty of truly stupid humor -- but I had to rate it high based on how hard and often I laughed. And all four of the main actors turned in good performances, with William Macy proving to be darn good at physical comedy.

I thought Wild Hogs was a great movie and I would most definately recommend it. However, I would not watch it that second time with the people I recommend it to. It kept me laughing, but as a 21-year-old, the plot was only good enough for the first-time around. Second showing, I may still laugh a little, but knowing the ending would keep the movie from being all that entertaining. Still think it was a great movie worth seeing.

I saw this after my 12-year old saw it with his grandpa.  He said that they both laughed and laughed.  I was excited to see it on DVD but I was sort of disappointed.  I just expected so much more humor than what I saw.

WILD HOGS, BABY!

Although I NEVER listen to the over-paid, ridiculous, "everything has to be Oscar worthy material" Hollywood critics, I wasn't sure what to expect with this movie; so I was skeptical about going to see it with my 14-year old son.  Needless to say, I'm glad I chose to see it.  We laughed from beginning to end.  The cast, in my opinion, was superb -- they complimented each other well.  John Travolta outdid himself.  Martin Lawrence was his typical silly self.  It was hard for me to imagine Tim Allen as a "biker boy" but he did a good job representing that persona.  And, William...

This movie is great. My husband and I laughed so hard. If you are a motorcycle owner you need to see this movie. John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence, and William H. Macy are awesome in this movie. They play the perfect set of friends for the road trip that they are going to take. But first they have to convince their families they need this trip. They blow up a Harley gangs barn and then are chased by the gang. This is hilarious. It shows that middle aged men have problems also and can do some crazy things. My husband is contimplating purchasing a Harley. I hope he doesn't get any ideas... read full review »

Watched this one with several older age groups (30 to 73) and most of us loved it overall.  Just the situations in it at parts were completely relatable.  Definately much of the movie had some outrageous unrealistc situations and some overacting - but how many comedies each year doesn't.  The bird to the chest was a good one.  It was also interesting to see such a cast of comedians together on one screen.  It would have been better without the love story and such but it was "cute" to watch on the level of kid movie cute - could have been A LOT better though

Wild Hogs was absolutely hilarious! You'll laugh out loud throughout the entire movie. Charming movie without today's usual vulgarity. John Travolta was especially hilarious in this film.

I have seen this movie twice, once in the theater and again when the dvd was released. Although it wasn't as good the second time around, it was still worth watching again. In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing the movie a third time, and may even purchase the dvd.

This is an excellent and worthwhile comedy.

This is so funny and has a great cast. This movie was filled with non-stop laughs. Whoever

reated this movie is very talented. Funny movies are hard to keep in interested but you

never knew what was going to happen next and this one not only had you sitting on the

edge of your seat it made your stomach hurt from laughing so much.

I am a biker and it was a great movie however with all the great actors in this movies they could have had some better writing for the movie. It definitely had some funny parts and we did laugh throughout it but it truly was slapstick comedy. These were topnotch actors in this movie both standup comedians and TV comedy stars. I think more comedy could have been added. Something was lacking. Overall I did enjoy it.
