Great place for general information, but not serious research.

I travel and I admit, I love being a tourist. I am not one to research an area and find my own guides to take me to places that I have identified. Rather, I love a tour. I want all arrangements made and all sites identified. I just want to go and enjoy the experience. However, I see so many things and take so many pictures. When I return home I make a book of my trip. To find more details on what I have seen, or even to identify a picture I have taken, I turn to Wikipedia. Using the itenary of the trip and information given by the guides, I can find information that allows me to meat out my story. Then, when I look at my book months or even years later, it all comes back to me. No, I would not use this site (or any for that matter) for serious research, but is sure is a convenient way to find information and pictures.
