I just want to say that rock band is a fantastic game that you will only have to play once to get hooked.  Most of my friends are gamers, but even my girlfriend and her friends that don't play games love rockband.  You get the drum set, a guitar, and a mic with the game, and each instrument is a lot of fun to play.  You can play with friends, or you can play with the instrument of your choosing and play by yourself.  The song list is a lot of fun and fairly diverse, so everyone should find music that they will want to play.  It's one of the most interactive games I have ever seen and is a brilliant idea for a game.
