I was an undergraduate student at Widener in the Accounting & Spanish programs and I loved my experience at Widener. Overall the majority of professors are truly invested in the success of their students. I could not have picked a better school to prepare me for a career in Accounting.

Since I had such a positive experience with my undergraduate education, I decided to enroll in Widener's Masters in Taxation and Financial Planning. While this is the first program of its kind in the Philadelphia Region, Widener has a very limited course selection in the areas of Graduate Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning and Taxation. Each semester there is one 2-3 classes offered and at least 1 class is cancelled each semester due to low enrollment. This has postponed my graduation by two semesters and has increased the overall cost of my graduate education. While the Graduate professors are just as outstanding at the undergraduate professors, the limited course selection compared to other local universities really detracts from Widener's Masters in Taxation and Financial Planning. If I had to do it all over again, I would have picked Villanova for their Masters in Taxation.
