Most HelpfulWhole Foods is my very favorite store. Sure I love Trader Joe’s for their frozen turkey, frozen chicken breasts and wild salmon. However Whole Foods is a supermarket which carries everything I could ever need.
They can be found all over the country though not in every state. They are in Canada and...

Most HelpfulI think that the products at WFM are not tat great in general. Yes they have some great local products that other store do not carry but I feel that you pay a premium to get them.
Here in NY they try to procure local products to that region, which is good.
The house brands are not that good and often...
review »My wife and I have been shopping at Whole Foods for about a year now, the one in Evanston. It's gotten to be one of our secondary shopping sites. We generally spend around $50 there, usually for organic fruits and vegetables and dairy products. We also buy soups and small cans of tuna for my lunches at the office, and gallons of bottled water. We also like the grind your own organic peanut butter.
The food is fresh and there often is a nice selection. However, most of the food is more expensive than conventional stores, even, sometimes, organic foods in conventional stores. I've got friends who...
review »First off, we shop at the Gateway Whole Foods Market at Research and Capital of Texas Highway regularly. Truth be told, Whole Foods was one of the reasons we came to Austin in the first place (the WFM World Headquarters are located at the massive 6th & Lamar location). Having lived in St. Augustine, Florida, where Native Sun, the only decent natural foods store in the area, was 25 miles away in Jacksonville, we looked forward to living in close proximity to a Whole Foods.
Having settled in NW Austin, the Gateway location is the Whole Foods where we most often do our shopping. However, due to...
review »I normally shopped at the Whole Foods store in Weaton IL. however, after the bad customer service and the overprice items in the store, I am no longer a customer for Whole foods .
They really need to get their act together.. !
If I'm looking for a selection of "ready to make" dinners that don't feel like they're "ready to make," my sights almost always turn to Whole Foods. They have a good selection of semiprepared foods as well as fully prepared foods which are perfect if I want to fire up the grill or the oven at home but don't want to take the time to make something from scratch. I've never had problems with the quality of anything that I've purchased and even though I may not always pick the healthiest option, the offerings are definitely a leg up over most restaurant or fastfood fare.
With all that said, Whole...
review »Whole Foods have positioned itself to be the Gucci of food grocercy stores. Most of their produce and meat products have the higheat retail prices in the local area. i do have to admit that the quality of the meat market is excellent however the quanities that one can afford is rathe rlimiting, at least for me.
I do like the bulk items as I like to buy the candes and ****. It is easy with the scoops by the bins and you can put the stuff in paper or plastic, however plastic is prefered as they weigh less that paper, Over a period of a few years the extra monies one would pay for the bulk items could...
review »In 2007, Whole Foods Market is being recognized for increasing its green power purchasing to include more than 509 million kilowatt-hours of wind-based renewable energy credits. This is enough renewable energy to offset 100 percent of the electricity used in all of its stores, facilities, bake houses, distribution centers, regional offices and global headquarters in the U.S. and Canada. Whole Foods Market is the only FORTUNE 500 Company to offset 100 percent of its electricity use with renewable...
review »Customer Service is usually fast and friendly. Most of the staff are well-informed on the products. If you bring out food stamps or an Oregon Trail Card their attitude can change quickly.
They have a great selection of food you can eat at the store or grab and go. And a particularly good vegan selection.
The prices are a bit high, even for organic health food and they do not seem particularly quick to respond to the suggestion box.
Overall, a good quality experience.
