Whole Foods - Austin, TX —
My kids got me a lovely large pink stargazer lily from Whole Foods Market in Portland OR for Mothers Day. This got me to thinking about the Whole Foods flower department which usually has a good selection of unusual plants like gardenias and orchids but may not be a place people think to go for flowers. I don't think the plants are organically grown which means the flowers are grown with pesticides just like other commercial flowers. This is something you have to watch at Whole Foods, many products are not organically grown, but still, the do have a good flower department, at least in Portland.
