I have long hair. Long enough hair that calls for a conditoner that works to make sure those tangles aren't there 24 hours a day. I should be able to comb or brush through my hair after a nice conditioner. What I love about this conditioner is the smell, the price, and that it is non-toxic. It makes me feel good knowing I did not pay much. I love having my hair smell nice and minty fresh, and I like knowing that the chemicals I am using on/in my body are not harming it, especially for something so simple and silly like washing my hair a few times a week. What I don't like is that it simply doesn't work well. It is not thick enough to get a good condition through my hair. I can use gobs of it and it still does not function quite like a cheap bottle of Pantene. I would choose, and do choose that over the 365 brand at Whole Foods. It's a shame, because I love their products usually. Just not this!

I like to use products that are safe for the environment and safe for the family. When it comes to cleaning the house I can get by with baking soda and vinegar. When it comes to cleaning the body it is not so easy. Unfortunately our budget does not allow for many of the expensive hair and body products. Occasionally I'll find something on sale or on the clearance rack, but usually if I want something I don't mind using on our young children in a pinch I have to turn to Whole Foods 365 Brand. To the best of my knowledge, their products are paraben free, pthalate free and SLS free. They smell good, work reasonably well, and are reasonably priced. They contain some chemicals I'm not so sure about, but overall, they are fine. Fine. The 365 Brand Mint conditioner is just fine. It's not great. It won't do anything magical to your hair. It won't make you look fabulous. But it gets out tangles and leaves my hair softer than it would be without it.
