I would give five stars to the original product, the original that wasn't "hydrogenized". This use to be a great product and inexpensive too. So some junior executive comes up with the idea to water it down (hydrogenize) and raise the price. While it still works well, it is not as good as the original. IMO

For the price on this shampoo, I was really please with the result on my hair. White Rain is not a well known or super popular brand. It is not one you will see advertised much. However, for people on a budget, it is a great shampoo option. It is one of the cheaper options you can find in the store. For the price, it works really well. I did not have any complaints about what it did to my hair. The shampoo got my hair really clean. It did not give it a lot more volume but it did make it look consistently clean. If you are looking for the volume though, you may want to look somewhere else. If you are just looking for a good, cheap clean, this is a great shampoo for you. Effectiveness It was really effective in getting my hair clean. It worked really well on that aspect of my hair. However, it did not do much for my hair when it comes to volume. Scent The scent is really not bad at all. It does not stay in your hair all day but it smells good.

I purchased this White Rain because I was shocked at how inexpensive it was and I thought it would be a great bonus if it was a great shampoo! I thought that since it was "Volumizing" Shampoo that maybe it was better than just the original White Rain shampoo, which I never liked in the past. I would even compromise if it had been a good shampoo for how cheap it was! It turned out to be a terrible shampoo and I didn't even finish up the bottle. I didn't feel that the shampoo cleaned my hair very well. I wash my hair every day and don't use hair care products that often, so it wasn't as if there was much to clean. And I felt that it was dirty later in the day! It didn't give my hair any extra volume, or add any shine or smoothness! The texture of the shampoo seemed a little "watery" to me, but maybe that's because the shampoo I am used to was thicker. The only reason I am giving it a 4 rather than a lower rating is because the scent was decent. Again, not the best scented shampoo I have tried, but it was better than the effectiveness of the shampoo. Really, don't waste your money. You pay a lower price for a lower quality shampoo! You'd be better of clipping coupons and buying a better shampoo for a reasonable price!

If you are looking for clean hair with lots of volume and you don't have a lot of money to spend, I would recommend trying White Rain Volumizing Shampoo. This shampoo has been around a long time and I've found that only things that work stay around. This product provides a good, clean healthy feel for your hair. It rids it of that dirty, slimy feel. This in turn gives you volume and shine and when your hair looks good, you feel good. The fragrance is really nice. It's fresh, not perfumed. You have to be careful though if you have color treated hair because it can help fade the color. I wouldn't recommend using it everyday on hair that has been dyed unless your hair color came out to dark and you're looking to tone it down a bit (in that case, this can definitely help). It's a good shampoo for anyone wanted clean hair; just don't use it too often or it can over clean your hair. Try it, I bet you become a fan!

White Rain is not one of my favorite shampoo's it works if you use it everyday but by the next day if you didnt use it  by the evening  your hair tends to feel dirty again  It smells great, and left hair silky after wash  its also not tested on animals and to me thats a plus

Great shampoo without heavy perfumes or irritating dyes.  It cleans the hair until it squeaks, and does not leave any dulling film.  It lathers beautifully, and the price for a  18 oz. bottle is less than two bucks.  I've been able to thin this shampoo out with water (three-quarters shampoo to one quarter water) and put it into two bottles, with zero change in this product's performance.  My adult son loves it as a bottle lasts him forever (even with daily use.  He only uses about a half teaspoon) and it does not have a scent that clashes with his body sprays.

I Really Love White Rain Volumizing Shampoo because it helps my hair grow and it makes my hair tattle free + easy too brush after i get out of the shower and also days and days after...  I Really Hope You Keep Making It, because it is only the kind of shampoo i use... My Husband Also Loves It... My hair stays clean day and day... I love white rain volumizing shampoo so much i buy 2 bottles of shampoo + also 2 bottles of conditioner every month...Everybody who comes to my house uses it ,thats how much i love it and how much my family and friends love it.. I also love it so much is because my hair never ever is easy to comb until I discovered white rain... I can fix my hair either way I want it... I can put my hair in a pony tail,a bun,+ other different ways... If anyone wanted a good product it would be white rain volumizing shampoo and if it ain't then it should be ,because they are missing out on a good product...Thank You For A Fantastic Product...
