I generally like products from White Rain, but I recently picked up the strawberry 3-in-1 Kids shampoo, conditioner and body wash and was very disappointed by this product. First off, it does not smell like the description on the bottle, barely fruity at all. Secondly, the product is clear, usually kids shampoos are colored, that's what kids like about them, and lastly, it barely lathers up are makes any bubbles. I used a fair amount on my son in his bath and the product really did not lather in his hair, and did not do a good job as a body wash. I realize that this is cheaper than other brands, but I will spend a little more to get a better quality shampoo/body wash in the future.

I really enjoyed the combination of the 3 in 1 while bathing my 3 children. It came in handy to not have to use three different soaps. But the White Rain Kids 3 in 1 - Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash did not fair well my with daughter's long hair. It cleaned it nicely and made her hair smell good, but it did not conditioner it enough. Effectiveness White Rain Kids 3 in 1 - Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash was very effective as a a shampoo and a body for my children. But the conditioner did do well with conditioner my oldest daughters long hair. I would not recommend this for anyone little one with long hair. Scent While the conditioning was not to par the scents without question are wonderful. We bought White Rain Kids many times just due to the variety of scents offered. My kids love to be able to pick out which scent they want and in the store the kids shampoos are at the there level, so they really enjoy be able to have those different scent options.

I need easy and effective when it comes to washing my kiddos. Cheap is also a bonus when I can find it. I prefer not to have overly scented cleaners but that is almost unavoidable given the other two criterion above. On my last shopping trip I picked up a huge bottle of White Rain 3-in-1 shampoo hoping it would work well for what we need. The bottle I purchase was a family size, which came with a pump. I totally enjoy the product delivery as I don't have to fight with the bottle, just one little pump and I'm good to go. For the shorter hair one pump suffices. For my daughter's longer hair (she had it for one day when I used this), I needed 2 pumps. The soap is runny so be prepared to be near the heads. Effectiveness My kids can get pretty dirty so first and foremost I need something that wil get them all clean. So far it seems as though the White Rain is doing a fair job at this. Two of the three currently have pen or marker on them and the soap has not removed it yet, though we also did not scrub these spots either. Then I also need clean hair (job #2 of the 3-in-1) for three different hair styles. Child one has thick hair, child two has medium hair and the girl has lots of very fine hair. The oils need to be removed which White Rain seems to do pretty well. Job #3 is the conditioner. So far I really haven't been able to test this as my daughters hair was cut short just before we started using this soap. The soap is very thin suds up pretty well and rinses cleanly. I do not really feel any conditioning in the children's hair after rinsing which tells me it probably won't be affective for what we need. Scent The scent for this particular shampoo is watermelon. It smells very sweet and fruity when sudzing up, but the scent also rinses away so I'm not left with sweet smelling children, just sweet children.

I bought this for my kids a few times, because they loved the scents. I do not recommend using it as a conditioner or a body wash. I noticed, as I was washing my daughters hair, that it left it smelling good and feeling nice, it didn't really condition her hair. I still had to use a seperate conditioner. Her hair was still tangly and dry after using the three in one. Also, while she used it as a body wash, her skin became awfully dry and itchy. Maybe she was allergic to it. I have no idea, since it didn't make her head itchy. Just her skin. It was cheap, and it smelled good, so I really didn't mind purchasing it for the kids. But I definitely will not be buying it again in the future. It just didn't do what it claimed to. Then again, it is White Rain, and they really don't have great products, in my opinion. All I know, is I will be buying this on a regular basis. The scents are really good, and they have a wide variety to choose from.
