Well--honestly if you can't get real white castle sliders, you CAN find a recipe online that comes pretty close! If I am going to put salt and grease in me, it's got to taste good!

The recipe I found calls for a jar of baby food beef or liver mixed in with the hamburger meat. Don't bother to try making them healthy, that's part of the enjoyment of a slider!

I too remember way back when---but I travel to Chicago enough that I can get a slider or three on the way home. You have to eat them right there in the car, they don't taste good reheated either. I think the "southern" version is called "krystals".

I agree with you about the packaged microwaveable things but I go crazy when I get to a real White Castle which thank God is not too often!

I am assuming these packaged sliders don't live up to the real thing. I never even heard of a slider and have never eaten at a White Castle!
