Whistler DE-1730 Radar Detector — 

For a price range close to 100 $, this one seems to be a good choice. The problem is its not very sensitive like the escort. And it can not detect a radar around corners. The frequency of flase alarms for 'x' band is high. but again as I said, its far better than Cobra or any other cheap brand.
