I was so excited when I saw the Whisker City Jumbo Two Compartment Litter Pan in Petsmart. I just had to buy it. I adopted a large kitty (my big boy cat) from the shelter, and the normal size litter pans have always seemed way too small for him. I have heard that litter pans are supposed to be one and a half times the length of your cat in order for them to feel they have enough space to do their business. Well, before the Whisker City Jumbo Two Compartment Litter pan came along, there was nothing large enough on the market for my cat. So, other than being huge, this cat pan has some other great qualities. First, it is heavy duty. This thing is not going to crack or break, which is fabulous because the last litter pan cracked on me, and I had to throw it out. Also, there are no 90 degree corners on this bad boy. The bottom edges are curved for easier scooping. Genius! If that wasn't enough, there are two compartments on the back of the Whisker City Jumbo for putting a litter scoop in. The only potential downside I see to this product is I'm not sure how I am going to clean it. The litter pan holds 30lbs of cat litter. I don't think I am going to be able to pick it all up at once to dump it. I will probably have to scoop some out with the empty litter container or something. In the grand scheme of things, this is not a big deal to me, and something I'm willing to work around, so my cat can have a big litter box. Thank you Whisker City for thinking of all the big boy and girl cats out there!
