I will put this note if for a heads up on putting clothes on your cat: . If they fuss they don't wish to be dressed!!! Don't force any pet to wear clothes if they are not willing!
As most of you know one of my two furry babies does dress up. She was in no way forced to wear clothes, wigs etc. I tried it one day to see what Scrappy would do and turns out I have a strange cat and LOVES to play dress up. Snickers on the other hand does not, but since I make them wear a harness little Snix will have to deal with that for her safety.
So what is the costume this year for Halloween for Scrappy? A Wisker City cow girl. As you can see from the pictures she is really hamming it up and once it was on she was into the cow girl mood.
The cowboy/girl costume is unisex. The hat is a soft swade formed hat with a velcro closure that fits all house cats. It also comes with a cute little red bandanna which also has velcro. Scrappy likes to wear the bandanna all over the place. I take it off if we are not around. When I went to take it off, Oh the look I got and she smacked my hand. So it gets wear it on the weekends.
I would not let any pet dog or cat wear pet costumes when you are not around for safety sake.
Scrappy will be hitting a few pet store Halloween parties this year (she loves to show off and get a goodie bag). If Snickers wants to play she will be just wearing a bandanna and I will be wearing my cowboy hat to and we shall be going as the "kitty gang". I even made pony sticks. (Yes, I am very into my cats, but they are my kids).
Have a Happy and Safe Halloween
