I bought the machine at Lowes with the warranty. The salesperson told me that everything is covered under the warranty except cosmetice damage aand light bulbs. It workes woderfully for almost a year. Water started pooring out from the bottom. The tech came out and told me it was not covered unless you have the extended warranty. I told him I bought the warranty and he told me I was wrong and the computer said I didn;t have the warranty. I dug up my reciept and showed him. He was very unhappy and told me he would have to make some calls. He made his calls and informed me that it was not covered and that coins were sucked in the pump. I went to the internet and googled Cabrio washer probles and come to find out they had over 100 people with issues on this washer. People are having flooding issues everywhere. I went to lowes and had no success getting my washer fixed. Ok... I am not happy at this point so I take matters into my own hands. I went back to lowes and turned on my I phone voice recorder. I went to the washers and was greeted by an associate. I asked him how the warranty works on a washer. He explained everthing is covered if you buy the extended warranty. I asked him if coins were left in the kids pockets, was that covered? He said absolutely. I then asked for the manager and told him my situation. he told me he would take care of it and nevere called me back. Finally Whirlpool said they would send me a pump buy I had to pay to put it in. Enough is enough. I filed a small claims case against lowes because I bought the warranty from them. Stay awa y from Whirlpool unless you would like a flooded basement or laundry room. Whirlpool and the Cabrio are junk
