I recently purchased a Whirlpool Microwave Oven MH2175XSQ and even though I do like the features and its performance, I am extremely unhappy with the light on the underside of it that is suppose to illuminate the cooking surface of the stove.  I did not think to look at where the light was located, nor how large the light was.  The light on this particular microwave is located completely at the back - as if you need to check out something on  your wall.  Also - the light is rather small, so is of little value when you are needing light for your cooking on the stove.  I think that this microwave had to have been designed by a man!   



I_thumb_down Whirlpool over the stove with fan in it is not recommended by dpol
