Whirlpool Duet, Duet Sport and Duet HT front loaders all have a terrible mold and mildew smell during the wash that consumers have brought a class action suit against the company. I thought I was going crazy and it was my septic.I have had to throw out towels because the dishcloth or dish towel would smell coming out of the dryer! I couldn't understand it. I thought it was the kind of towel (microfiber ones). I had the technician come out and he said it was from my 2x concentrate detergent but my washer was fine. Whirlpool Washer - Cabrio Top Load
Whirlpool Cabrio washer is an expensive, attractive piece of junk. Frequently goes out of balance, stops at 12 minutes left in a cycle and displays a "uL" (Perhaps this stands for the "unlucky loser" that bought this piece of junk). I have had it repaired twice already (fortunately under extended warranty). Avoid this machine at all costs.
Whirlpool Washer - Cabrio Top Load WTW6600SBT
Whirlpool Cabrio Automatic Washer, this product has had presistant Code F51 failure. I find out that this code means call service for repairs. Now I am told that it will cost nearly $250.00 to repair because a Rotor and the control board needs replacing. It is 2 1/2 years old, what!
