Why all the shake in the spin cycle

Whirlpool front load duet sport washing machine. I have had serious trouble with this machine making a noise and dancing all around the floor during the spin cycle. The service folks that whirlpool sent said there was nothing they could do. Whirlpool doesn't seem very interested in replacing the machine. I will have the second service person look at the machine tomorrow. I fully expect to be told there is nothing wrong with the machine and to blame the walking all over the floor and shaking the whole house on the fact that I live in a pier and beam home. Why do they make a machine that say-- half the homes in America--- can not use. I would think that a $700 machine would work anywhere.
