I love this fridge! There's so much space for everything! I like the fact that you can move the shelves in the door to fit different items, as well as the inner shelves and drawers. We've had problems with our fridge freezing our food (yes, the temp was regulated) and we haven't had any issues with this one! It's got a classic, yet contemporary look and isn't an eyesore in our kitchen! The glass shelves are easy to take apart for cleaning. It's just a great fridge!

I've had this unit for 2 weeks now and so far I'm pleased with it.  I would recommend it over a GE or a Kenmore, both of which I have had problems with.  The Whirlpool has dual temperature controls and cools down satisfactorily, unlike some GE models, which never cool sufficiently.  Once the desired temperatures are reached, the Whirlpool is relatively quiet.  The shelves are sturdy, unlike the wobbly ones in the Kenmore I replaced.  My 6 year old Kenmore developed a large rust spot on the back side and I was afraid that it would rust all the way through to the freezer.  Although the Whirlpool and Kenmore look nearly identical inside, I hope the Whirlpool is a better quality product.

I purchased this refrigerator back in march 2008 .  I thought it would be great because it had lots of room   I got it home and it was ok .  Not even 30 days later the condeser went bad on it.   I was wondering why it felt so hot between the freezer and refrigerator doors.  So it was still under the manufacturers warranty .  Ok things go even though it was rather too quick to go.  So it took them a week to come out and check it out.  Then I had to wait for the part to come in .  Finally I had the refrigerator back  Lets I was glad I got the extended year warranty but wish I had gotten a longer one.  The rubber seal became loose and then after my extra year warranty was up the refrigerator decided to break again. It was working fine when I went to bed and next morning the light was on in it but it was warm .  Freezer still worked and all my food went bad.   I gave that refrigerator to the junk men on pick up day and will never buy another whirpool as long as I live I will stick with frigidaire.  An appliance this expensive should not last 2 years only.

The freezer has never had any frost build up and even though me & my wife have three teenage children, nothing on it has been broken. It was expensive but it has been depenable, durable, and clean. If can withstand our three teens it can do great for your family too.
